For those that are WATCHING it that is. Apparently, playing the game is a whole different story. Everybody knows Demon's Souls is repetitive, frustrating, etc. but people ENJOY it because the gameplay is addictive.

I'm not expecting or wanting people to be banned, but a fair punishment would be a suspension. Now, I am not expecting for Sony to do anything. They have no obligation because PSN is free while MS at least has to show some dedication to its subscribers.

So you are expecting a game to be perfect? That's impossible. Games are bound to have issues, but that doesn't make it okay to exploit them.
Sony doesn't have to ban users, hell I'm not even expecting them to suspend them, but to act as if a game is intentionally made with glitches is logically incoherent.

It's BS. If anyone has seen the glitch they know it renders the game unplayable since killing your enemy results in dying. Sony could put in the effort, but MS practically should because people pay for the service.

Are you absolutely kidding me? If players intentionally EXPLOIT something that is not meant to be part of the game then they should be banned. It's considered cheating.
Sony doesn't communicate with the community as well as MS does and this is clear evidence of that. I can't believe people actually manage to spin glitching into being a GOOD thing.
One thing that's great with XBL is that they know how to treat their community (and they damn well better because people are paying customers).
This ban is great news, but I own a PS3 meaning I need to manually report people myself, and even when I do I get a "Report to Activision" message.

it didn't elevate any new standards in gameplay. Graphics were great, but the actual gameplay was pretty typical with a good sense of weight. It fell victim to the same problems... red barrels... typical story... bad characters, etc.
Sure it was fun, but the game didn't push much. The cover system did make the game's SP unique though.

I wouldn't mind seeing Gears on a PS3. The more games the better. Gears 1 looks like it has a great multiplayer and I would love to try the game out for my PS3.
Yeah but that only says that there are actually great FPSs on the market.
I mean, I understand the genre is supersaturated, but that doesn't mean we can't still enjoy it. I largely ignore a lot of average FPS but love the ones that are great, just like any genre. It's just that the FPS genre is the most common, but that doesn't mean it's ruining gaming.

Sony needs to continue showing their competitive drive. By doing this they show not only that they are serious, but that they are dedicated.
It's common sense the 360 version is noticeably superior but I hope Sony can work their magic and make it the multiplatform even.

It really is about time for Nintendo. Sure they are still selling great, but they have pretty much done what they need to do this gen in a shorter amount of time and that is sell as many consoles as possible and make as much money as possible

I just think Ratchet is so cool. I actually haven't played any of his games on the PS3, but loved him on the PS3.
I think half of the reason is because I use ratchet in my profile on PSN, but that's because there aren't any new ones and because Ratchet looks like a Gamer's mascot.
That's just me. Personally I liked the Jak and Daxter games better... U know I really don't know what it is that makes me like Ratchet so much lol.

I dont really consider a game of Halo 3 or MW2 a game of "War" even though they are war games I suppose.
It all depends on how realistic you want to push it.

People always use MAG's 256 players to act as if it suddenly makes games like Uncharted 2/Gears inferior when it's all about preference.
I like games that feel personal. That's why I prefer games like Modern Warfare, Halo, and Uncharted 2.
