Better framerate and higher resolution sound like a given, mod support would truly make it a class better than the console counterparts.
So happy to see how far this series has come this gen.
And to think that most of us saw the original trailer and played it off as just another junky Japanese game
Looks like any other SRPG but with Pokemon.
I absolutely agree, I don't like what I'm hearing at all
Really? I'm pretty disappointed--
1. see through walls (as if invisibility on command wasn't enough)
2. buy gameplay advantages (there goes the heart of Halo)
3. sprint as standard, INSTANT spawn, random weapon spawn times (an attempt to make the game easier for casuals/newbies as opposed to letting them learn, completely destroys the map domination and thinking ahead strategies)
I always loved Halo for being a controlled game that req...
Who says it will be a rip off?
The idea is dominated by Nintendo and they do it very well, but so can Sony. IMO there is a whole class of genres Nintendo does very well in that I think Sony can benefit borrowing from for their own franchises, especially LBP-themed games.
Personally, I prefer a 3D fight world with simple arcade fun like Power Stone, which is the direction I hope they take this game, especially considering most of Sony's biggest franchises ...
GODDAMMIT, I fell for it. :/
Well, MAG didn't exactly get the support it ought to have gotten, and I cant imagine servers being cheap to maintain for a low player count. MAG should have been ported to PC, that audience is perfect for MAG.
As for SOCOM, Sony effed them hard by trying to make it a casual shooter, the loyal fans didn't bite, and the casuals left back to whatever else they play. Should have made an actual SOCOM game that was to its roots and the fanbase would have stuck through with ...
Me too, PSN is long overdue for a big update.
The VITA's PSN is really nice, so at least they understand how and where to improve.
I can see how that can be seen as a lack of professionalism in Activision's eyes. The guy still openly favours MW1 for being everything the current COD is not. I haven't seen any PR do that before, it's always about representing your current product.
Don't bite the hand that feeds, though I appreciate his honesty.
I really hope the surprise "Change" is that they removed the awful blue filter.
Tender young minds my ass, they got a far more damaging friend in worldstarhiphop, Much Music, Youtube, and pornhub.com
I started playing video games with the original GTA on PC and some dungeon crawler called Mageslayer, I grew up fine because my parents enforced good behaviour when necessary
Just give me the price for now, and save those games for E3
Dark Cloud. I sure as hell miss Dark Cloud
SOCOM was completely watered down, Zipper should have never screwed that franchise the way they did.
MAG was good, but would have been much more successful on the PC.
It's too bad because SOCOM was a great franchise that suffered this gen from the averageness of mainstream multiplayer, Zipper just traded everything unique about SOCOM for current gen concepts.
I always felt Sackboy's face should have been on ModNation, but I really like the LBP universe coming to life in Kart Racing. I was initially worried what they could do different, and this seems interesting enough. There are interesting concepts here that work because it's LBP and not MNR (the grapple hook, the world being made out of LBP materials, etc)
IMO, it's smarter for Sony to push Sackboy for theme genres like Nintendo does with Mario. There is a great app...
Well I dont care for a PC version since I have the PS3 version, but a PC version with proper PC Support (mods) would be so good for the series. Either way, shut up and take my money!
Problem is that those large maps by Battlefield's standards aren't anywhere near the size of older BF maps. BF3 maps have been shrunk drastically, and the importance of Conquest flags has drastically been made insignificant in favor for a more linear or closer flag placement experience.
The fact that Metro is the most played is bull. Metro games finish faster than other maps due to size, and the fact is that Metro is played to rank up real fast. The map is terrible an...
Close Combat
Doesn't anybody think of the children!?
Lots and lots of people are complaining-- but not on N4G. N4G is a general collection of gamers, you wont see the diehard franchise fans criticize here, but there are some.
But I agree with you on both accounts: Uncharted 3 was absolutely gutted from what made UC2 initially so great by the influx of COD-related features that totally threw off the balance. Same thing is happening with Halo, it seems.
