Yeah I agree, the romance is as deep as an ordinary action film, in which case it's rather just average. Just because the hero goes good with the pretty girl doesn't make it artistic or deep. It's as cliche as it comes. And I also agree with romance not being something important for an art game, that's just silly. What I think the author is trying to say is that there needs to be an emotional connection you feel with the character, or that the game needs some sophisticated goa...
Gaming101 really nailed this writer.
Killzone 3 had DLC called "From the Ashes", which is the strongest connection I can make.
@Stab
Speak for yourself-- this is far from a gimmick if it works as well as they show it. This makes the game a whole lot better to play. Anyone that plays Skyrim knows how cumbersome it is to go through the menus constantly, this Kinect support is wonderful and exactly what I wanted to see.
As far as rubbing on MS's crotch, that's business, deal with it. I see Sony and EA sleeping in bed all the time. I don't like it, but at least in this case i...
I guess publishers are afraid of alienating the consumers, but I can't imagine AO games being any different than purchasing M rated games, though the M rating has been desensitized
Not sure if satire website or legit opinion piece.
Yeah, he says porn star. I read that It's a super special move that distracts enemies by summoning porn stars. Very effective against human enemies, causes aids sometimes, which slowly drains enemy HP.
You know how these Japanese games are.
I thought it was getting pushed because of localization issues, or that they wanted to do more voiceovers for different languages or something.
I loved the cabin moment in Resident Evil 4. They can easily make a great co-op mode out of that.
I'm with you. Actually, I don't mind main story co-op, but I feel it takes away from the scare.
I'd much prefer a solid, single player-designed experience that emphasizes solid horror gameplay, and then a separate co-op story, with eventual DLC content drops, since Capcom is going to find some way to cap off more $$ off the title anyway.
I don't mind the co-op option, but I feel it will result in a less scarier game overall, hopefully Capcom ...
They see enough real life blood than any of us
Not with that attitude you wont
It started last gen:
"Microsoft was the second company to implement downloadable content (after Sega). Many original Xbox Live titles offered varying amounts of extra content, available for download through the Xbox Live service. Most of this content, with the notable exception of content for Microsoft-published titles, was available for free.[1] Microsoft was the first company to charge for downloadable content, with the 2002 video game Mech Assault.[2]"

Not going to happen at this point in the generation. It seems counterintuitive to even do when they are better off focusing heavier resources for the next gen consoles.
They'll modify the engine, add some new modes and features, and tune the gameplay, but you may as well cross BO2 off your list if you are waiting for a new engine.
@Unexpecta
How has the 3DS been the birth of Nintendo going downhill? It is a great success, both as a seller and the software isn't bad either.
The criticism of the tablet as the WiiU's downfall simply because it is different doesn't mean it will fail. I can only point to the Wii's use of motion control gaming as a history reminder. The tablet is more traditional than motion control in fact, with the only concern being pricing. But the tablet...
-Expensive console
-One tablet per console (not sure if this has been disproved or not)
-Expensive tablets
-Lack of third party support (not that I care to see PS4/720 games on WiiU)
-Barebones online (and with PSN free, it'd hurt even more, for those that care)
-Outdated hardware, which can lead to dropped or inferior ports
Lots of room for a bad start. They can sell at a loss and have a payoff on the long run if the above problems...
I remember a lot of negativity when they first revealed the trailer, a lot of people passed the game off until first reviews came in. Not trying to troll, just telling you what I remembered (and I'm talking about Demon's Souls)
Maybe not on N4G, but I used to hang out on other forums and nobody seemed to expect much at all
You don't have to play it to know that unlocking gameplay advantages based on how long you've played for, or having constant sprint already removes the way Halo plays.
It's not a matter of playing to see if the change is good, it's a matter of unnecessarily changing features that were never a problem to begin with that many fans are discontent with.
You can't blame fans for worrying, these changes are fundamental. It's not the first t...
Ha. I will, once I find where I put it. You don't like Bodie? :(
