A pilotable AC-130 would work on PC with 64 players and maps that are actually huge like in older BF games.
I really like the sound of that, it is exactly like MAG's
I feel the same way about Xbox exclusives. I have my plate full, though oddly, I have a burning desire to play Viva Pinata
I agree with you, I also think it kills the excitement, but we'll see what happens
^There will be other modes with a stock option, but I thought that referred to modes with only limited lives.
Veni, the reason why they took that out is the exact opposite reason you stated: It makes every player try their hardest. If one player has -2 points, and the top player has +10, the lower end player loses incentive to try.
I agree that it can definitely go both ways. If anything, they should have a system that tracks your average points, so that even...
It's more likely a template for E3, the character selection is too god awful to be real, as are the character avatars. Everything about the UI will probably get a redesign to accomodate for the full roster.
Last I checked, they confirmed there to be around 20 characters.
Good, they've been milking this bone dry and the WWE games deserve to return to its former glory, if not with THQ, then some other company. I have no sympathy for THQ here, they are like Activision with COD but lacking the success.
Yeah me too, Hale wouldn't be interesting enough. Cole's electricity moves would definitely create a more interesting character. Resistance's hedgehog grenade is confirmed to be in the game, if anything, it will be Resistance's interesting weapons and scenes that will be in the game.
There are far better roster picks, and personally, I want to see more fun characters like a life-sized Sackboy, Maximillian from Dark Cloud, Wanderer, etc.
Oh yes, Uncharted 2s MP is much better for various reasons, the big one being balance is much better. But, you're not going to enjoy UC2 in its true glory: Much harder to find matches outside of DM, and usually that isn't very full, and the players are really great, so it will be a tough grind. Additionally, they lowered the health and killed the greatness of the game, which UC3 got right. If anything, play a 5 on 5 private match with customized health
Agreed, dat Power Glove is wonderful.
Meh, the announcements for games like Smash Bros. and COD for VITA mean very little since they just name dropped the titles. Anyone can do that, and we knew of these games beforehand.
I also dont find it a benefit to show multiplatform gameplay, as anybody can also do that, and if anything it benefits all consoles equally when that happens (so for RE gameplay, it also benefits Sony, though not Nintendo since RE 6 isn't coming to Wii U, I think)
^ I didn't dispute whether or not E3 being all about all the games was true or not, I was commenting that usually there is a negative attitude on here when someone working for the company trashes the competition to leverage their own company. Greenberg does it, and I always see the same immediate response, no matter how much truth he (sometimes) speaks. The attitude when Sony says it is different, and this isn't the first time I've seen it (Sony calling 3DS childish comes to mind)...
He has no place to trash talk when the VITA sorely lacked any serious attention while they gave the spotlight to Wonderbook. If he's going to fault the competition for lacking great games at a presentation, then the same can apply for his company.
Nor do I think Nintendo is "losing their plot". Just because the games weren't shown at E3 don't mean they don't exist, which is something people act like is true. The VITA certainly lacked a great showing,...
I do agree the intensity is gone of every move being potentially fatal, I really like that about SSB.
I have nothing against the showcased mode, just hope they have the sense to offer the options to customize how we play.
Very impressed, very promising.
What? It was much better than MS's. Last of Us really has me sold, just hope it presents a good difficulty. I was never really hyped for it as much as others until seeing that gameplay. Beyond also looks fantastic, those two alone make it better than whatever MS offered.
Got bored and turned it off early. All I remember is generic shooting and some lame voiceover yell out objectives and hearing "save that! Capture this!" This is really the saturation of the industry this gen, that I've seen time and time again and it was all there at MS's E3. The cheesy cliches are killing me
Forza and Halo looked good, but nothing out of the ordinary, the teasers for the new games they did announce were underwhelming and felt thrown in
How much $$ do you get for doing that?
I just got a 3DS, I'm going to be pissed if I see two slide pads lol. Oh well, it was inevitable, the 3DS could definitely use some hardware revisions so I'm interested to see what they do.
DICE has lied through their teeth about so much in regards to BF3, whether or not the maps are truly the largest we've seen remains to be seen
