Wow the critics have gotten 2010 off to a bit of a bumpy road. Not a bad score, but not a particularly good one either. I'm hoping Heavy Rain, God of War 3, and Bad Company 2 will change that. I'm pretty surprised with the low scores of WKC and DI.

Does anybody know when ModNations releases?

Not God. Unless SMS IS God! :O

Besides, Kratos may kill you.

I have the demo still lying around and I should really download it already (though every MB costs me extra money since I went over my internet usage).

Is the code shareable?

Lol, well I had gotten used to calling it a wand.

Arc is pretty okay, much better than Gem.

It's pretty hard coming with a name for the damn thing.

Not sure if "Arc" really says anything about motion, but then again I don't even know what the hell Natal means.

SIXAXIS was a pretty cool name for the controller.

But the animations are so great.

Generally positive reviews, though IGN is surprising me with how much lower they seem to be scoring games this past week.

This should please the Hack N' Slash fans for the 360 and should offer a good treat for those waiting for God of War.

Funny, when IGN reviewed WKC you found them to be unreliable, but now that they gave a GoW-clone a good (but by no means great) score, they are fine?

Guess it wasn't as AAA as I originally was lead to believe with the first few reviews.

It's not a bad game by any means-- what's with IGN being so hard all of a sudden? Both their MAG and WKC reviews has been lower than Gamespot's and it's usually the other way around.

By the way, wasn't this game supposed to have deeper gameplay than GoW in terms of combat and combos? If so, I wonder what will happen to GoW3.

Correct me If I'm wro...

Don't bother. Websites are only biased when they don't share your own.

I never really liked the idea of WKC, but I had faith in Level 5. This has upset me greatly. Hopefully this gets them thinking on bringing back Dark Cloud 3. WKC2 is already in development so maybe they can still turn this series around.

The whole premise of WKC sounded stupid and dull to me and this has only confirmed my worst fear.

I think I'll skip it now. But don't give up on these guys, they are behind the brilliant world of Dark Cloud and that is all I'll ever wait for. I appreciate the fact that they wanted to do something different but it clearly hasn't worked for them.

Making a shooter or developing on the Wii.

Also, though I do agree with the title, there HAS been a lot of variety. LBP is a PRIME example of a game that offers something boldly different, The Last Guardian will be gold, and games like Portal, Bioshock, and Demon's Souls are terrific games that are varied.

Cloud Fury?? Is that you?

Then I assume it's going to challenge MS and Sony's attempts at motion control. Nintendo can continue squeezing out the Wii (imagine what a price drop would do), or they could put the money into a new console, but I wonder if they would start appealing to their core audience again.

Maybe they will announce a new motion device too?

If it's a new console then wow that's not only early but it's also a bit premature considering Nintendo is doing just fine this generation...

I wouldn't say that the Wii is dead, but when motion control comes out for MS and Sony then Nintendo will have to make a response.

As for the Wii itself, not really interested in it, but it's more like it's sleeping than it's dead. I know it can still squeeze out more but Nintendo hardly look like they try.

Of course, that's in terms of software. The Wii is far from dead as a money-spitting machine.

But then again, it's the guys that brought us Dead Space so it's clear they know how to make a good game.

I didn't expect this game to be getting such high reviews, hack and slash fans have gotten a great amount of games recently.

That is actually an excellent idea-- it may be hard getting people to upgrade when they have their necessity to play online solved. A free 1 month trial would be great, but then people could start making multiple accounts (since they are free to make) and keep abusing it.

But that is an excellent idea. I wouldn't mind upgrading if Sony did some huge things though. Something like free Pulse and Qore wont suffice. I am hoping this new revenue stream can get Sony really going with P...

Funny coming from you, considering that your the guy that claimed I had no PS3, but didn't want to back it up when I offered to add you. Still want to take me up on my offer or do you like living in your black and white world where nobody can say anything bad about Sony unless they must be trolls?

5981d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

My thoughts precisely. The only way they can differentiate and stay better than Live is to stay free to play.

If they can keep the playing online free then they can add an alternate Premium service, but as long as it as an alternative upgrade.
