@presto
But if you don't care why click for hits? (speaking broadly, not just at you).
Also, why is that people "care" or dont mind reading such opinions only when it favors and agrees with them?
MAG reviews that scored the game 7.5 and lower got crapped upon, people called sites biased, they didn't understand the game, etc. But when it gets perfect they all of a sudden think it got a "deserving score".
It's hypocritical ...
I think the fact that Sony has closed the gap to 5 million is very telling of how well the PS3 has been doing.
Also, the number of consoles sold doesn't really matter. If we want to talk business, then it's the profits made off the consoles in which case MS is still winning.
Maybe not this year, but I have fair confidence Sony can outpace MS... but I don't think that's their strategy, that's just something gamers/PS3 fans want to happen.
But never undere...
Well some PS3 fanboys got upset when Miller dared to say he liked ME2 better than Uncharted 2. You know it's bad when PS3 fans hated on Demon's Souls for winning GOTY from Gamespot. A 360 game being touted better than UC2 spelled instant death for IGN :P
UC2 is great but some people couldn't even accept the fact that a few websites didn't give it GOTY-- even when the GOTY went to another PS3 exclusive. Uncharted 2 is not untouchable though it is treated like it is sometimes.
Resistance is #4 and there's no DEMON'S SOULS!??
First of all, Resistance needs to be MUCH lower on that list, the whole series is generic IMHO. LBP deserves to switch spots with Resistance, because it actually deserves it: bold, unique, risk compared to generic (Nathan Hale is plain dull), typical, shooter. I don't mind Resistance being on the list, but not that high on the list.
How is Forza Motorsport a new IP this generation?
I can't believe Demon's ...
Well you don't have to be off a high place to break your foot.
Also, OMG People play Wii FIT??
I would've put in CoD4 and Halo Combat Evolved too, both were great titles and considering the decade as a whole both were very influential titles. I would even put Demon's Souls. What's with the lack of handhelds?
Pokemon Gold? Yellow? Oracle of Seasons/Ages?
Some of the greatest games also were on handhelds, who can forget Pokemon??
Edit: Oh, I see their logic, they took every game of the year and ranked it overall.
Good list anyway, thou...
Not my favorite title of the decade, but Damn straight it's on that list.
Glad it's highly recognized. Easily goes in my top 5.
Gourmand from Power Stone is awesome.
Though, he turns into a dinosaur that sends flying pigs at you. Yeah I know, Wtf, right?
Anyways, this article is totally random. People must be running out of "top X" ideas.
I shall now use this comment to state that Power Stone 3 needs to be brought to this generation.
I disagree.
You don't need vehicles in MP games like COD, it's simply a design choice.
There are a hundred other reasons to hate CoD, but I prefer no vehicles in a game like COD. I love it in BF though.
Besides, killstreaks are enough.
As for this article: there is an interactive guide on BC2's site: ultimateprestige.com, just go there and enter a Gamer Tag (try NightStalkar) and you will have access to all that is BC2.
This art...
Ah ok. Yeah, the PS2 online was a mess, it was such a pain trying to sign up and everything.
It would be nice for Halo 2 to come to the 360 or something like that. I wouldn't put it past MS.
Now if I could only run Halo 2 on my PC...
I *think* that PS2 online is still going if I'm not mistaken.
I don't understand why MS is doing it, Halo 2 is played a lot and it isn't right to do that.
Halo is an excellent game online and the fact that people still play #2 on Xbox 1 shows how many dedicated fans there are.
Why is Final Fantasy #1, I'd expect Halo Reach to easily be the top game of 2010 for the 360 considering it's going to be the hugest release of 2010 overall. Sales are bound to be huge and scores are likely to be as great considering Bungie's track record and Halo's success.
Anyways, just another 2010 article, but IMO Halo Reach is going to be the biggest game of 2010.
I'm sure it will be successful, but I still question it. Linearity, length, and story are my main concerns and I've been waiting a long time to find an RPG that is just right. I'm enjoying Demon's Souls immensely but it lacks a story.
I can't believe the release is right around the corner too, I was expecting much more hype, but I've found that once it went multiplatform nobody wanted to share the glory.
I'm not even sure if their point is true or not, though FF7 seems much bigger than GoW considering RPG's traditionally have more to cover in transition.
But, it would seem like they are lazy but the ball is in their court. A nicer way of putting it would be time and resource issues, but lazy is probably how they will be perceived. It's too bad because it would be a great way to rake in some cash.
The only thing though is that God of War was a last gen game and perhap...
First of all, I don't get the big fuss over installations. The only issue is space for me, but I don't care if I can't play straight from disc if it's a 1 time thing.
Second, I'm much more concerned with the success of this game.
I'm hoping for a solid, long, story with gameplay and exploration to match but from what I've heard the game is straight forward and a bit linear. It concerns me, but I can still enjoy it. I just hope the game manages to meet the hype of a F...
In some manner-- the website ultimateprestige.com from DICE has an interactive guide though you need to enter a GamerTag (if you guys can't get in google "Battlefield Veteran leaderboards" and use one of them to enter.
This game is going to be ace
I still remember playing #3 for the first time and being shocked at how revolutionary it was. There are nostalgic feelings you have with games, and GTA was one of them.
Maybe it was because I was an avid player since the original GTA, maybe there was something dangerously exciting about playing an M-Rated game in my parent's home, but the series has always been such a great one.
GTA IV was disappointing, not because it sucked in any real way, but it was such a step b...
yeah, dynamic themes are pretty cool but it's such a nickel and dime scheme.
I'm waiting for community dynamic themes if it's at all possible. I'm pleasantly surprised that custom themes are attainable but dynamic themes are so awesome.
Perfectly said, bubbles to you.
Resell the book?
Never trust news titles with question marks at the end of them.
