The game is delayed because, as I understood it, SB wanted to implement some of the feedback from the private beta testers gave.
This article is ludicrously worded, to say that the balance is bad is misleading and paints a wrong impression. I don't know if it's because of the translation, but it comes off all wrong
COD Vita is even 30 FPS lol.
The game is all kinds of flop, but really, I truly dont care, and I never have. People are clinging on to COD to sell the VITA, but I dont think Sony or fans should WANT that kind of one-game buying fanbase anyway. Let's pump out the great variety of SP games, that's what I want a handheld for.
Always felt the same way, Nintendo and Sony are two sides of the same coin.
I'd have preferred if they dropped Dante and put resources towards more exclusive names like Wanderer (Lack of Team ICO representation so far is a letdown), but really, Superbot did a great job translating the characters into the game, and what they can't control, they can't control. I am firmly confident we'll see an alt skin (maybe for DLC) and that repping the current Dante just makes more sense for Capcom.
That Spyro pic is beyond fake, but I do want Spyro...
Sorry, I didn't mean it like that, I wasn't trying to accuse you of anything-- what I meant was that if Sony continues to bring VITA games to PS3, they'd compromise the worth of the VITA's library. You dont have a VITA? Neither do I, but having Tearaway on PS3 would kill the temptation of wanting to pick up a VITA.. PS3 doesn't need Tearaway as much as VITA does.
No! Why devalue the VITA like that?
A strong, native-built IP is what will sell VITAs, PS3 wouldn't benefit and would just make PS3 owners lose the incentive to get a VITA.
I want another new Mm IP for PS3/PS4, though I'd LOVE LBP 3D, Mario 64/Sonic Adventure style. Give us an open world 3D platformer like Okami/Mario/Sonic/Zelda. Playing LBP kart just makes me want to ditch the kart and go on an adventure in the 3D craftworld. Would be awesome to...
That username and avatar combination is just so unholy.
I hope they rebrand it to like "Stars" or something, instead of "Accomplishments"
Hopefully Nintendo adds its own twist like Sony did. It'd be cool if they didn't use the Sony/MS shared concept of attaining a set goal and made it dynamic, like in TimeSplitters where you can "upgrade" an already completed challenge to get a higher ranking. That would make it skill-based too. It'd be like trophies, except imagine if all your bronze trop...
@gaffy
You can develop on the VITA and make sensible uses of the features without forcing some gimmicky situations. Do you really want to yell into your VITA to progress in Tearaway? These sorts of features are usually there at the beginning of the cycle to show off, and are sometimes unfortunately forced onto the software, but they usually die out. The important thing is options, and I think when it comes to touch control, core games shouldn't be forced to implement them...
That's not funny to me :(
Really worried that they will disband Team ICO after the game releases.
Well, one of them is wrong.
I guess the unlockables will be alt skins, and maybe stages.
They should have kept all the characters unlocked for online multiplayer, but should have left offline alone. They could have even made unlock all characters a "Shortcut DLC" like DICE did for all I care, I'd have liked to earn some of these awesome characters.
Did I say that? The market for that is simply a lot more fractured to compare to Wii-U like implementation. It's a risk to make exclusive content, let alone dedicate whole games around touch-screen controllers when you don't include every console with the method of input (which is Nintendo's advantage).
And Dreamcast + VMU had something like it too. God bless the Dreamcast.
A lot like the move, this is great in theory, but beyond LBP, let's see how it gets supported. No one's going to buy a $250 controller for LBP DLC, and I'll place my bets that we wont see any core games built with this concept in mind since the market is too fractured on PlayStation for it.
Thought this was a standalone PS3 exclusive..(?)
Below: Rain= PSN, Puppeteer= PS3, Until Dawn= Move if I'm not mistaken
May I suggest Sound Shapes?

Still streaming for the QandA
Surprisingly good showing for Wonderbook. Good promise for the future of a market that Sony needs to tap, whether core gamers like to hear it or not. Still unsure how it will sell, but that depends on Sony
I'm sure we could see another Little King's Story on the WiiU, no reason why it can't come on the VITA. Clearly the devs wanted it on handhelds and the VITA was more suited for it.
