yeah WW, which is probably the only game thats still going to look good in 20 years. The art style was excellent and timeless

im not defending a game that ships with bugs, though its getting increasinly complex to release a game without having some.
Im just saying his comparison of Skyrim that has bugs and Amy which is unplayable from a technical, design and execution point of view.
Its just not the same, skyrim's gameplay is great, polished and it works, it just suffers from other technical issues. Amy is unplayable, the gameplay is sloppy, hit detect...
i dont remember skyrim or cod being unplayable, they might have bugs or glitches that can affect gameplay sometime and not to all people, but its certainly not the same as this game where the gameplay itself is just broken.

that would imply that they are still supporting it... which aside from Zelda, they are not. Sure 3rd parties will continue to support it for quite a while with the party and family games, but i honestly just want Nintendo to focus on the WiiU, there is no more reason for them to keep making games on the Wii, the change in generation is a year overdue
Well the same could have been said of square enix a couple of years ago, or again bioware, they had a great track record and then came da2 and dissapointed a lot of people.
And its not like im being negative or want the game to be bad, i hope naughty makes another amazing game, i just find so hard to understand how people can be excited enough to put this game on a list instead of other ones when we dont what genre it is, how is the gameplay, the story,etc.

I honestly dont understand why people add the last of us to this type of list.
With so many great games coming this year that we do actually know how they are, why is it that they add a game we know nothing about, we dont even know what type of genre it is....
I know naughty dog is a great developer but at least wait until we have some more details, a developers name alone isnt always enough, just look at bioware and dragon age 2 as an example

its funny how most people here complain about this type or article comparing it to previous consoles that started poorly and then did just fine. Have you considered the fact that SOMETHING WAS DONE at the time that allowed X or Y console to eventually grow.
Im not going the deny the title is sensationalist and looking for hits, but its dumb to deny that sales are way below whats expected(unles 72k on its second week is considered good), so just as Nintendo had to do something...
what most people dont see, is that the 3DS Slide Pad doesnt just add a 2nd analog stick, but also L2 and R2 buttons, so the 3DS lite would need to have those built in as well, which could be pretty weird. That or make the lite with just the 2nd stick and release ANOTHER adapter for the L2, R2
well, they usually pick the art style after some time in development because they choose it based on gameplay and the mood they want to give.
Skyward's style, even though it was obviously a way to deal with Wii's limited hardware, still turned out to be really beatiful, so i wouldnt mind if they keep it.
honestly if i had a job like it happened with the previous sales, i would have bought at least 7 games, but this time i knew i had to save for the games coming in feb-march.
Still ended up buying portal 2 and shogun 2 for $7 each

well, its too early to tell if there's going to be a price cut, but considering it was a holiday launch with lots of good games, it doesnt seem that strange that they would do it, assuming the current sales were worldwide, but for now we will have to wait until it launches outside of Japan to see what Sony does
yeah, but the thing is, if 4-5 months from now, sales are declining, what else can sony do? its not like nintendo dropped the price because they wanted to.
I guess thats one of the biggest diferences you can see between companies, Nintendo being a games only company has been more careful with their products, Sony and MS on the other hand, being part of much larger companies usually do this (release losing money on each product), which to me is a bad bussiness practice
as the other guy said, its a port on a smaller resolution screen, unless they made specific changes to the engine, you wouldnt see a diference.
On the other hand, the fact that it looks practically the same as the Wii version should already tell you some of its power, because remember the 3DS has to render everything twice for the 3D effect, unlike the Wii, which achieves those graphics by rendering just once.

im not sure why people are complaining... you do realize that the PS3 runs on a modifidied Geforce 7800GTX, THATS RIGHT 7800GTX, thats a card thats 6 years old, and not even the top model of the 7 series, and yet we have the current graphics of Uncharted, Killzone,etc.
Honestly, try running a game on a 7800 card and tell me if you can achieve those kind of graphics.... of course not, because whats released for PC and consoles is vastly diferent, the one for consoles is just B...
