Even if Halo 3 looks mediocre by next-gen standards it does look partially next-gen. This game looks last-gen with a few cool effects. But again, such water effects can even be seen in Resistance retribution. The graphics on those two are comparable, they're just a bit cleaner on Wii.

The biggest flop this gen is Too Human. In fact, it is the biggest flop of last-gen and the previous one too. It is the most awaited game of this generation and Xbox fanboys touted it as a "God of War Killer".
Lair was simply hyped before it was going to launch because it was the first PS3 game showing some muscle and it did. It was definitely a big flop but not like Too Human. Same for Haze.

European SKUs bring in more revenue. PS3 sells more games in Europe. Therefore, even if there is a small sales diference in favor of 360, PS3 makes up by selling more in Europe.

The company that initially touted DLC and DD to be key for the generation is not in first place in that aspect. Sony is even distributing full PS3 games on PSN, like Burnout.

As of now I think the best are 2K boston, media molecule, kojima productions and Bioware. This year I think the best will be Naughty Dog, Quantic Dream, Capcom, Polyphony digital and the devs behind Alan Wake.
No DVD9 and no HDD is a major fail. Movie makers can make more money of the PS3 due to the fact that all of them have HDDs, not to mention that all of them have Blu-ray. In fact they make more. You know, just like 3rd party publishers make more revenue money on PS3. Just like PS3 has more and better games to look forward to. Just like it has more services, gaming and non, to look forward to, and you don't even have to pay to use them.

360 and PS3 are just about equal in terms of games. 360's few exclusives left are launch window titles (like Condemned, chromehounds, dead rising, GRAW, Saints Row, Full Auto) and all of their sequels (if they exist) are on PS3.
Sony didn't focus only on Blu-ray, the gaming division actually determined it was a necessity to hsve Blu-ray out of the box. It was the next logical step after DVD, and it was cheaper than adding a 250GB HDD in every PS3.
