You might eventually, as it runs on a multiplatform engine (UE3) and it is owned by Epic, not Microsoft. After NG2, I wouldn't find betting on finding Gears of War on the PS3 eventually as farfetched as I would have found it last month.
Then again, PS3 needs a price drop.
I think it's funny that the 360 has only games with multiplatform engines as showcases of its power, lol. All of PS3 games showcasing its power have engines tailored specifically for each game. 360 has two unreal engine games and another multiplatform game which looks identical on Ps3 save for a few minor framerate issues.
As for the Wii, I completely agree with the list. Perhaps the conduit will replace Metroid Prime. However, the Wii has no muscle, it shouldn't have figured. ...
As a PS3 owner I can and will have both
What happened in Japan, Europe and the rest of the world? Just curious. If the monthly difference is less than 50,000, then Sony can still hold a bit longer. If the difference is more than the difference in America, then the PS3 could be in trouble.
I hope Sony can lower its production costs soon enough.
I'd love to see what you'd say about Microsoft if they did the same.
Yes, you retarded Xbot.
Mass Effect Sigma. Period.
Mass Effect 2 could probably come intact, and knowing EA, it'll probably will come with the same content (Nothing more).
Almost anything is possible. Even Gears of War, which is owned by Epic, not Microsoft.
Memorable? Nah. Dead Rising, Monster Hunter, Lost Planet, Devil May Cry and Resident evil have all been good, but not like the capcom of old where they revolutionized genres. Bulletwitch is a mess. Only SFIV is stellar, but the sad thing is that there is no new IP here where they revolutionized a genre.
In the NES era they revolutionized platformers with Ducktales and Megaman. In the SNES era they revolutionized side-scrollers with Final Fight, and fighting games with Street Fi...
I remember Xbox fanboys touting it as the best action game ever, and now they're downplaying it. Who would have thought that it goes both ways? I find it funny how you try to demonize fanboys of a system you apparently don't know, immediately coming off as a fangirl of another system.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 was Ninja Gaiden 1 Sigma. Nice try
Yet I was insulted by Xbox fanboys, and they said "MICROSOFT TEH PUBLISHEER!!".
Just to clarify, some people are saying this will be a "re-make" which doesn't make sense. Others are saying it will be a port when the article clearly says it won't be a port. So what will it be? Well, Ninja Gaiden Sigma was a remake. Its engine used PS3's strengths. It's likely that they'll use the same assets, and that they won't "port" it because it won't be the sa...
Publishers know this, they simply screwed Microsoft and its fanboys, and now PS3 fans get this game. The better version of the game, actually. So while you played a game that was gonna be on other platform, PS3 owners were playing games that were definitely not going to appear on your platform.
Stop crying
ssj is just trolling
Here's what you're basically saying: "CUZ SONY FANBOIS SED SO LOL". Here's my reply:
-PS2, like Xbox, also had graphical masterpieces, like God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, FFX, MGS2, to name a few. PS2 had graphics AND games back then, not "just games", and not just graphics like the first Xbox. Sure, Xbox had even better graphics, but again, nothing to be envious off as PS2 had its own masterpieces. The difference wasn't as big as to say "Man I can...
Isn't there enough evidence for anyone not to believe in Wii? The Wii is pretty much selling itself to two groups:
-Those looking for a novelty, i.e. non-gamers and casual gamers that find good games as "too complex" or that think there's somehow technical excellence in an inaccurate motion detector. They believe that since you can now "move" to play, technology has reached the "unthinkable" and therefore they think the game actually knows their ex...
You can't take a joke, can you? "Xbox Queens" have no sense of humor now, do they? You seem pissed off.
Resident Evil became a Nintendo franchise last-gen. RE1, 2, 3, Zero, 4, and Code Veronica X appeared on Gamecube (and RECVX appeared before on dreamcast). 4 was initially exclusive to gamecube, RE1 Remake was exclusive to gamecube, so was Zero. The only games that didn't appear on the ol'cube were "Outbreak" and that's because Nintendo had lame Online support (just like now).
In fact, RE stopped being so much of a RE franchise that RE5 has significantly outsold RE4 on...
Take in mind that:
1 Continental Europe sale > 1 American Sale
1 Japanese sale > 1 American Sale
That's for two reasons: 1. Games are more expensive. 2. The economy has considerably weakened the dollar.
Those two factors are killer and are the main reason why publishers report higher revenue from PS3 titles. The only place in Europe where 360 multiplatform games sell more than PS3 games is the UK, but the English Pound has considerably...
"IT should concern gamers when a weaker console is displaying better multiplatform games then the more powerful one. The thing that gets me is that if multiplats normally look better on 360 then who's to say that every PS3 exclusive wouldn't if tailored for the system look better on 360. "
Not all games look better on 360. Tomb Raider, Burnout, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden Sigma > NG2 (same engine higher resolution), are a few examples of games running better on PS3...
