Games sell better on Ps3, especially in Japan. Even if they are not "better".
Anyway the obvious answer to the fact that PSP gets PS360 ports and Wii does not is the target demographic/audience.I guess it's not cheap enough to port it to Wii in relation to the sales amount that publishers would expect.
And less timed exclusives, less DLC, and less multiplatform announcements.
Oh, and games that take advantage of Xbox 360, not games that don't take advantage or either or.
A new Zelda like Twilight Princess, not "Cel-da".
Oh, and a true Mario RPG/Paper Mario sequel, unlike the last one (not like it was bad, I just want another turn based Mario RPG).
He chooses to waste them on really stupid comments, which is ironic considering he hates "stupid clowns".
On topic: Weak Wii Sales, Strong(er) PS3 sales.
I remember this massacre, it was somewhere in the south, a black gang against a white couple, and that was never reported as racism against whites, they simply said it was "another case of violence".
There are all kinds of racism out there.
But even if they didn't want to support the PS3, they got the platforms switched. Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey would have sold more on Wii and cost less to make. Feel looks like a game that would appeal more to the 360 audience; Capcom has done well with genres that western audiences like on Xbox 360. Mistwalker is not learning the lessons from all of Square Enix latest flops.
They're negligible, not warranting a 200 comment thread.
I guess you already realized how hypocritical you sound with that BS.
:)
"LOL PS3 fans came into 360 threads and took your bubbles. "
"LOL" it goes both ways "LOL"
Why is it that "Why Dis" never has anything productive or intelligent to say?
:)
I think the only reason Red Steel sold a lot more than other "Hardcore" titles is the fact that it was an overhyped launch title, sold as if it was reinventing the FPS genre. It's likely that it won't be as big a flop as MadWorld was given the sales of the first game.
Good luck.
I thought Gabe Newell was a relatively good friend with Rob Pardo, which is the Executive Vice President of Game Design at Blizzard Entertainment. I guess business is business and this has nothing to do between them but more with corporate interests.
Save us the bullsh1t, you should simply post "..." and we'll know that you're disappointed in a PS3 exclusive. I don't think you are a fanboy, I think you might be a viral marketer hired by Microsoft, considering you try to appear neutral in your words but in the end all you do is advertise Xbox 360 (as with your name and avatar).
There are tons of 360 fanboys out there, but for some reason, even if I could be wrong, I think you could be sitting somewhere in Redmond ...
Two years late :(
I guess better late than never though
*losers
So, are they in "fear"? Do they "sense" a "storm" coming? Every time you say something you make me laugh, so bubbles for you.
Anyway, I doubt Sony ever thought that Microsoft had nothing to offer this year. Only fanboys did. But of course, it's getting increasingly harder for Microsoft to maintain those "exclusives" which aren't really exclusives. It happened with Bioshock and Ninja Gaiden, I doubt it won't with Mass Effect and Lost Plane...
Not only in terms of console sales, but 3rd party game sales (you know, the ones that 3rd parties care about in order to support a particular platform) are indicative of where to put their eggs. PS3 has been consistently the top software seller for quite a while now for many companies, especially on 3rd party blockbusters. And while that's surprising to some because of the install bases, it's not that much if you consider the following facts:
-PS3 sells more software in Europe,...
It will be included in the 360 DVD9 and you'll only download 120Kb keys that cost 1200 XBL points. As for the PS3, it'll be filled with redundant data and movies, and any additional content that comes out in XBL that is not on the DVD9, will be available on the Blu-ray but will require 1 MB downloads in order to unlock it (notice how I said the size will be bigger on PSN because that's how sloppy Namco will be with the PS3 version; yes, even if it's the lead platform).
Anyway: Only on PS360 (TM)
i.e.:
Not on Wii.
:)
Oh crap Please Crapcom bring Tatsunoko versus Street Fighter to PSN!
Considering it's capcom which has a love affair with Microsoft, I think the "gimped" option will be it. Then again, RE2 was linear and was a multiple disc game, not to mention they somehow made it fit on a N64 Cartridge so it could work out somehow with some sacrifices. Oh yeah, gimped.
The Wii flexing its muscles.
