There are individual blades of grass in MAG, volumetric smoke effects and more impressive explosions than the ones found in lost planet 2. The vegetation (the trees, to be precise) looks also almost as good as the one found in Lost Planet 2. Perhaps what's impressive about Lost Planet is its lighting and the detailed characters, but MAG doesn't fall that far behind and it's possible that LP2 footage is from the PC version (similar to what was done with the Gears 1 bullshots back then), not to...

Besides, how many characters on screen do you have at one time on Lost Planet 2? I'm sure it's way below 256.

MAG certainly looks very detailed, a lot more than everyone expected, and it's still early. The game already looks as good as Call of Duty 4 even when it's not polished and it has a ton more things happening on screen. I can't wait to see the final product.

Besides, Lost Planet 2 is not that impressive from a technical standpoint. It *looks* good, but it'...

However, open world games require high density discs because they need instant streaming. So if they need anything, it is Blu-ray. The fact that it is appearing on Xbox 360 (regardless of its exclusivity status) instantly rings the *gimped* alarm.

It's easier to make PS2 quality games on PS3 than on PS2. However, to get the PS3 to squeeze most of its power, it is the hardest console to develop for, ever.

Oh wait, that's on PS3 too lol

"but but but Lost Planet 2! (which is multiplatform!)"

So instead of coming up with "facts" (since you think I am wrong), you come up with "you are teh bias" or "you are a droid". lol

Better luck next time, Xtard.

I expected the Wii not to need Wii Motion Plus. Anyway, I bet there is no multiplayer because of Wii's limitations.

I know you're "Why dis", so why pretend. Even if what you way was true, the PS3 can also run multi-threaded code. The difference is that the cell processor is much better for parallel processing vector code, or each SPE is a SIMD processor. The 360 processor while only work well for AI and physics (just not as well as the cell processor).

The only reason some 360 multiplatform games might look as good as they do on PS3 is when vertex shaders aren't being processed by ...

I doubt it would be good as a MMO, but hey, I would love if it was.

You'll get a disagree. Look at all the Xbox fanboys, let them enjoy that they have one game to look forward to, even if it is multiplatform. Also, let them *think* it looks better, I already told them why the MT framework looks so good (because its special effects are poor compared to other games this gen, not to mention it is focused on visual beauty and not interaction).

When this game is announced for PS3, all the 360 fanboys will cling to whatever negligible differences there a...

Why do 360 fanboys party over multiplatform games. And why is "Why Dis" using two accounts on this thread anyway?

6147d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

You 360 fanboys only care about Lost Planet because Capcom has dupped you (again) into thinking this is 360 exclusive.

6147d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

As if you know anything about what you're talking about! HAHAHAHA

Why Dis, The cell processor is much more advanced in terms of parallel processing. That's not an opinion, that's a fact.

I love how the idiot fanboys disagree with the following statement:

"And this is just the tip of the iceberg about all the things that make the PS3 superior. The Specialized SPE's are another example of what I'm talking about because they can run practically ...

I loved Wolfenstein and MOH: Frontline back in the day. I think Killzone 2 could have been better. I hated the dialogues and the character models. I loved the lighting, the music and visari. Some textures were great, others weren't. Some objects had no noticeable low polygon counts, but others did. The animations were superb, so was the lightning in the air, the volumetric fog effects, the guns, the enemies, the shadowing. A bit inconsistent, but good overall.

I was disappointe...

But the water looks as unimpressive as nearly every other current-gen game, a bunch of pre-rendered animations and either 2D animations for every interaction with it or very weak particle effects, there's little fluid simulation here. Also, I've seen better explosions on current-gen games, even on Gears of War 2. Killzone 2 has better explosions than these even if they're not as good they should have been according to the infamous E32005 trailer; however, Uncharted ONE had much better explosi...
