Also, Microsoft wouldn't benefit more as they sell more 1st party games per console even when they have less devs working for them. They have Halo. But even if they did, it can be a joint venture where each puts 50% of the business, if Sony puts more in terms of developers then Microsoft puts more in terms of $$$ to...

How about all those niche great games that we missed due to lack of availability at retail? Or how about games that would be pretty much obsolete? I mean I have Street Fighter Alpha 3 for PSOne and I could play it on my PS3 but even if I didn't, there are already remakes of Street Fighter II and Marvel vs Capcom 2 in HD with online play, why go back to SFA3 which has low res textures and no online play and no achievments/trophies? Hell SF4 is here already!

That's complete bullsh1t. The PS3's graphics card is actually superior to the 7800, and in fact EA developers have likened it to the 7900 (which is consistent with the fact that NVidia's CEO said that the RSX would be more powerful than two 6800 combined, and more powerful than the 7800, i.e. it's like a 7900 modified to communicate with the Cell Processor).

The "Swine Flu" (which is no longer "Swine Flu" as it has mutated into a new form of Human Flu) has hypothetically killed about 150 people, but only 20 have been confirmed to be by this flu. Some say it's not fatal if you get help on time, but considering this is a new illness I wouldn't be so sure, I hope it is though.
I didn't buy it to play former PS3 exclusive games which are still on PS3 or 2 hours of additional DLC or to have the majority of its games ported. Whoever thinks I wasn't being honest with my comment is a paranoid fool. I just want Microsoft to validate my purchase.

What they do own is 49% of Namco-Cellius. However, the fact that 51% is owned by Namco means they call the shots.
Even if Sony did own Namco Stock, it wouldn't matter that much. Just look at how Square has ignored the PS3 almost entirely this gen even when Sony actually owns Square stock.
That gives them some cred in my book.
