4K is a standard used in the conversion of film movies to digital that has been around since before HD was defined. They simply choose to use the already established term "4k" rather than expanding on the "1080p" terminology with the awkward term "2160p".

Not to burst your bubble, but game engines support and the quality of the games produced from them can vary greatly. Just look at the UE3 library.
The quality will all come down to hardware. Part of the Wii U's costs (both money and processing) are invested in a tablet controller and the system is priced slightly over the last gen hardware leaving little room for improvement on the power end.

The way I see things:
1.The PS3 and 360 competed directly for the same market while the Wii grabbed a mostly new market while keeping it's classic market.
2. Sony's PS3 attempted to grab this new market with MOVE, yet still maintain a hold in its core market. Needless to say the MOVE, while enjoyable in some aspects did not succeed to the extent Sony would have liked. It seems that Sony will soon take another approach to this market with the Wonderboo...
Wii U proprietary disks are confirmed to hold 25GB.
The lowest end DVDs hold 4.7GB, most hold ~8-9GB (like the 360's disks), with rare double sided and double layered DVDs holding ~17GB.

I still question why a third party company hasn't made a controller with interchangeable parts and placement.
It'd be awesome if everyone had the option to switch stick placement, shoulder button style, etc. on the fly for a friend that comes over.

With a such a unique console coming from Nintendo, it's hard to imagine that the Wii U Entertainment System wouldn't create a feeling of pleasure that is familiar, and yet taken to new heights.
My girlfriend and I have spent countless nights playing with my Wii. May this new console bring as much fun to the bedroom (where I keep my consoles) as it's predecessor.

I believe "my friends are buying it" is a completely legitimate reason to purchase a game.
I can have more fun playing a decent game with friends than a wonderful game all alone.
As long as I can connect with my friends with ease and we can all enjoy it (even to different extents), it would be just as worthwhile as another experience that sucks you in.

I have thoroughly enjoyed many of the games that Sony's Playstation Plus subscription program has brought to my Playstation 3 console.
It has been a great value, so much so that I've had to replace my hard drive, as it was becoing the limiting factor of the value I could get out of the Playstation Plus program.
