It may be common (part of my inital point anyways), but consumers should at least know it's a new console.
I have shown people the console and had them say hey "I've got one of those Wii things."
Seeing games that only look like Nintendoland or something else that is played on other game systems doesn't help differentiate itself.
The controller does, but then again it could be just a new controller.
The point is that the average consumer base for Nintendo doesn't know. In fact Some people I know initially thought it was just a new controller, particularly after the first E3 showing.
It's all about density, how quickly you can get back into the action, etc.
The only problem I had with Nuketown was of course the spawning. When you tighten down the size that much, you are sure to spawn right on top of someone (or their grenade).
If your looking to keep the high density level yet don't want to spawn on top of someone, I highly suggest playing games with higher player counts.

I never had any problems playing with my older set on my PC, but if nothing else works you could probably download a bluetooth device and usb manager like BlueSoleil and sync them.

Its fine to ask for opinions, but we can't really agree or disagree if you can't lay down the hard line on your own true thoughts. Overkill is an understatement, but that is exactly what advances everything over time.
If anyone is curious the card is $1k and should run BF3 at max settings at a constant 60+fps at a 4k resolution who's monitor alone will set you back a cool $11k minimum.
Most devs (ND included) stopped producing (CGI-style) cut scenes for their games as using the in game engine with a higher LOD usually suffices and producing CGI at a higher quality than than capable in game is expensive for practically the same results.
Just look at all the games that use comic book style cut scenes.
Anyway if GOW:A, Beyond, TLOU, FFvs13, TLG, and MGS:GZ are what it takes to max out a PS3, I am already one happy gamer.

Did you even notice how huge the margin of error is on that chart you posted.
I know plenty of people who sit less than 8 feet from their TV (or monitor)...especially when gaming.
Also, if your running a game in a higher rez there will be less need for AA, allowing a portion of those resources to be reallocated when we reach that point.
Finally, 4k could also mean support for 2 1080p TVs, maybe 4 at 720p. Loc...
The fans have every right to voice their opinions.
We all know that resources are going into other games that a much smaller portion of the consumer base wants.
Companies can prioritize, or even tackle a new objective based on a show of support.
Why shouldn't we let them know?
Doing nothing is a sign that you are fine with the situation. Most fans clearly want more, so let them voice their opinions.
