In checking out Lens of Truth's review of COD:BO for all the systems, the WiiU holds up fairly well considering this the first COD for a Nintendo Console. Regardless of what system you are playing they are almost identical. And what I mean by identical is that if you are playing the game any graphical differences are so minor that for most gamers the difference won't be noticed and will not effect a gamer's experience.

I did notice that the WiiU does have a lower...

Competition is good and keeps Nintendo and MS on their toes. A loss of Sony would be a HUGE blow to the gaming industry.

I see a huge restructure occurring in Sony's very near future and hopefully they will come out of that restructuring a better company.

Nintendo at its finest! Release a product but can't even meet a small fraction of the demand. Nothing like creating a false shortage to create more hype.

Internet quotas...internet quotas. Between streaming video and cloud based gaming you will be paying quota overage fees out the butt!

And a large portion of rural America still has either slow internet (dialup) or high download, high latency connections (ie. Satellite internet).

Horrible review. Obviously the author didn't invest any time in the game. Definitely worth the effort. Fun game!

I have spent many hours on the PS3 very of Risen 2 and it is a blast to play. A few graphical glitches, but overall not ridden with technical shortfalls as others have said.

Horrible review. It is obvious the reviewer hasn't liked the previous Resistance games, so why would this game be different. That right there should indicated the reviewer should have had someone else review the game.

Just a bad review regardless of how you look at it...

I can understand Netflix's issue. Netflix users are tied to a download cap, but if you use the Xfinity 360 app you aren't. Unfair competition...

Comcast has a limitation that makes Xfinity more attractive since a consumer doesn't have to deal with download caps.

Net neutrality may a$$!

They will never do all digital! There are millions of people that do not have high speed internet required to download large games. Some games could potentially be in the 5+ GB range.

I would not buy one if it was all digital. I have high speed internet but still have to deal with my cable providers download limits. If you include Netflix and downloading 2-6GB games, you could very easily go over quota.

Article sounds like fishy to me!

First week of Vita? Which week? The was the early release bundle on Feb 15 and a full release on Feb 22. Which week? Article doesn't state the actual week....vague, poorly written article.

Reviewer compares the Vita version as a port from other platforms. Review says the game has gotten mostly positive reviews yet stats the vita version has an unoriginal story and dull dungeons. Wouldn't this be the same for the game on other platforms? So the reviewer gives the game a 50% score because the price is high and the reviewer didn't like the touch features (yet all the traditional controls are still there). I don't think a 50% score drop is fair because of the price. May...

A couple things...

The comment about the Apple apps that are extremely cheap or free. Look at the content of those apps/games. There are reasons they are cheap. They lack content! And lets not forget the "pay to play" model that most ipad/iphone apps are taking these days. You get a free app, but then end up paying $25, $50 or more just the play the game and make progress. Is the iPhone/iPad revolutionary, no!

As for price, it does seem a little hig...

Well said Gamer7804!

Don't forget the zillion "free" ipad pay to play games.

Lets look at the cons. Poor battery life - The 3DS has horrible battery life, luckily get 2 or 3 hours from a 3DS charge. Big and bulky - with dual analog sticks and with a 5" screen the unit is bound to be large. Games prices - I would rather pay one price upfront for a full game instead of these "free games" on the ipad that require in game purchases (which sometimes end up being far more expensive than a full game would cost on a Vita or 3DS). Multitasking - Never meant to b...

How can this article/author even compare a commercially available portable device and a proprietary concept tablet. This gaming tablet will never become mainstream. This article is all over the place....mentions 3 different operating systems, lacks any major details (memory, cpu specs, etc.) or even a proposed support model. Maybe an indication of something that could be developed commercially in 3 or 5 years, but is by no mean a copetative product against the Vita, any of the apple products...

4G at this point is purely speculation. 3G will allow for game downloads from PSN, backups, etc. The key will be IF the 3G version of the Vita can be upgradable to 4G. If not, what will be the premium to purchase a 4G model. From a business model I don't think the Vita market can support a more expensive model (ie. 4G)

The PSP was a great portable console, and has sold fairly well considered the negative press.

Between the virtual touch analog stick and the micro transactions on tablets and smart phones (ie. "free" game but you have to pay to get anywhere in the game) is why I think portable game systems like the PSP and Vita will continue to do fairly well. Do you spend $40 for a game or do you get a free game and spend $10 ever few days to play a game. Those "free" gam...

Hardware specs mean nothing! It is all about the games. The console must support games that are FUN, have excellent controls and good graphics. Prelaunch games are notorious for being mediocre and the true assessment for a console really come months after launch.

I will wait unit after the prelaunch release before I pass judgement on the Wii U. Nintendo has a specific market for gamers and I think the Wii U won't differ much from the older Wii.

Airplanes + gunfire don't match!!! Funny how they depict a stalled airplane (losing altitude) and turbulence yet they don't address the fact that a bullet can penetrate the plane's fuselage and decompress the plane. Very typical of COD! I will most likely pick up the game next week, but from what I can tell, slightly different graphics, more variation in weapons, different maps and some new kill streak awards. I feel like we have done this so many times before.
