Just finished the game. Fun game. Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. My score: 80/100
Nice little system, but with the quality of the 3D in the new 3DS I would wait and get the latter. Other issues, odd placement of the L and R buttons, mono sound, and lack of clamshell (to protect screens) really lower its value.
Plan on watching some gameplay footage before buying the game. Still keeping an open opinion on the game.
Still baffled on how IGN could give Evolve a 9/10! Repetitive multiplayer only game. Let's not forget the horrible A.I. In solo model, balance issues, etc.
I could go on but it just shows how subjective game reviews really are!
DLC Issue aside, the game is so repetitive. After a couple hours of play time I can honestly say this game is boring. Hunt and kill the monster or hunt the hunters as a monster. There lacks variety!
There are so many better games out there, don't waste your money. This game will be dead online in less than six months.
This offer is horrible. They gave us no time to plan, limit it to 3 days, and pile on a large list of items that are are excluded from the offer. Not to mention only a 10% discount.
The issue is you pay a $5 micro transaction that generates a crate drop. The problem is that the crate drop can be seen by people in the game. People scramble towards the crate and fight off the zombies surrounding the crate. The content of the crate can be taken by anyone. THAT is the problem!!
Example: Someone identifies a crake, runs towards it, waits for others to kill the spawned zombies and then swoops in and takes contents.
So basically you pay $5 for...
Rendering a few minutes of simulated GTAV video and actually implementing that in an actual game is VERY different. Don't forget that GTAV is actually a living city. Traffic, weather, etc.
Yet another exploit that makes the game not enjoyable when you are the receiving end of these exploits.
Mario Kart 8 as the winner??? Really??? And Dark Souls II as #4, an extreme hard and frustrating game. A game a lot of people never played because of the difficulty.
And what about Fry Cry 4?
So this isn't a full review. Then why even write it???? Their last comment: "Check back for our full thoughts and a proper review soon." So this isn't a proper review...then why the HELL did you write this crap?????
So basically he doesn't like the initial intro to the game where you drive a truck trying to evade the police. Then later on he doesn't like the blue line GPS? This smells a lot like he played the Beta.....especially since the game isn...
Looks like network Lag to me.
Not sure the point of the video.
No where near ready! Hard drives are still too small, downloads at too large (and will get larger) and the majority of the US does not have Internet connections that can support those large downloads. Physical games are not going anywhere for a long time!
They don't want people reviewing the game with out people online playing the game. Regardless if you like the game style or not, you can't produce a good review unless there are people online.
Regardless if the game is good or bad, a review of this game does need people online. If you have a handful of reviewers online, how can they can they truly rate the online component? They Can't!!!! Which is Ubisoft's point!
Im not saying this game is g...
So he wants rubber banding, instant rewards for not progressing through the game, co-op games where everyone is the same level, some unwarranted comments on the campaign story, and statements that there were very few people playing online.
As for the last one, who wants to download ~20G for a beta! And a beta that had server issues several weeks back. Not to mention a beta during Thanksgiving! (and only lasted a couple of days) I have played for a handful of hours this week a...
Looks at GTAV - just a remastered version with better graphics and a few tweets to the gameplay. And that game is getting 9s and 10s!!!!
In my view FC4 is better because it has a different story, different location and better graphics.
People keep forgetting that a vast majority of the US population does not have high speed internet. Slow speed DSL and satellite internet are still very prominent throughout the middle of the country.
And lets not forget a hard drive crash. With a physical copy I can start playing games in a matter of minutes instead of having to download an entire game again.
And don't forget the small hard drives in the latest generation of consoles. It doesn't tak...
You are so right. It is horrible on the PC and at this rate it is years away before it will be suitable for the PC. I just don't see consistent development to show that it will be ready for prime time any time soon.
The only thing keeping development alive is that people keep buying early access.
This assumes you can actually buy an XBO chat adapter! No one has them for sale!
Of course people who are still playing aren't having any issues gaming; the majority of people trying play the game can't because of the sign in issue. Once the sign in issue is resolved, who knows how the Titanfall servers will fair!
Nothing is free! People that believe that there are free games have no clue.
Free to play falls into two categories. First is minimal cost but you are limited in how long you can play until "currency" regenerates (usually hours, possibly a day.) The other category allows you to play without constraints but requires you to pay. Look at some of those tablet free to play games. Coin bundles costing $99. So basically that free game ends up costing you a lot more than a ...
