How much did they miss when they were focused on getting max level! A lot I bet!!
Fully agree with the review. Between balance issues (special abilities, weapons, etc) and network issues, this game is a huge step backwards from previous games.
BO3 just shows that developers have lost their way. They need to get back to their roots. Would love a historically accurate Vietnam based COD.
Looking forward to the tweaks to the Rose. You know it is bad when you play a game and 4 or 5+ people are playing as the rose. Not to mention that because of that the Plants win 9 out 10 times. VERY frustrating!
Plain and simple, the game sucks. The gameplay is unimaginative and the game lacks content. I stopped playing it because the game lacks a decent number of maps and the gameplay is repetitive and boring.
The Star Wars name sold the game, nothing else. If this had been a different game it would have been ripped apart by the gaming media.
And EA wants $50 for DLC to add game content that should have been there at release date!
Why do people continue to fall for this DLC crap. When you purchase a season pass you are gambling your money in hopes the DLC content is worth the money you spent. And most of the DLC content is part of the initial game to begin with...
A $50 DLC expansion for Fallout 4 when the full game costs $60! Stop buying DLC and these companies will stop this crap. Vote with your wallet!!!
Unless there are some huge changes between the beta and release date this game will be a complete failure. I had high hopes for this game.
If I want the DLC I shouldn't be forced to download all the DLC. DLC should be free! Fragments the player base.
This isn't going to convince people to purchase the DLC who weren't intending to purchase in the first place. All it does is take up valuable disk space and download bandwidth.
This is just a horrible business practice and just another reason why this is my last COD purchase.
Typical Ubisoft crap! Guantanteed access to the beta! So basically Ubisot lied!
Isn't it beneficial to have as many players as possible to test the game, servers and network infrastructure? I guess Ubisoft doesn't think so.
No beta code, my pre order will be cancelled immediately. I'm not going to give some company over a month to sit on my pre order deposit and make money off me when they don't hold up their end of the deal.
Sony and/or Microsoft can't address these DDoS issues, even with their services being pay for service. They can make their infrastructures resilient to these attacks (ie. sense an attack and take system offline), but they can't prevent them.
Unfortunately until a network provider (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) can come up with a way of characterizing an DDoS attack within the core of the internet, we will have to live with these issues.
Treat these organiza...
It is obvious you guys don't understand the ramifications of DDoS attacks. DDoS attacks can go on for hours, days, or even weeks. As long as the DDoS attacks continue it is extremely difficult for Sony to bring PSN back online.
The first letter in DDoS means distributed, which means the mass volume of traffic can come from 1,000s, if not millions, of IP addresses. This means it is almost impossible to block the source of the attack.
Taking PSN offline is ...
The recent patch fixed a lot of the launch issues and added some additional content. Worth a play at $24
Knocked it out of the park??? BO3 is nothing more than an expansion pack. What revolutionary change/addition did they make to the game over the previous COD game? I don't see it.
People hate online only games, but Crackdown 3 will be no different and require access to the Xbox Live Cloud, which is no different than an online only game.
My concern is if there are issues with the cloud, does that mean the game will not function?
Guess we will see in the coming months how the game evolves.
No disc, epic failure! Too many people have crappy Internet and downloading 40, 50, 60G+ isn't an option. Not to mention the storage requirements that would be needed for a no disc system. Won't happen!!
Between now and when the next generation Xbox comes, a lot can change within the consumer market and technology.
Articles like this are all speculation and are click bait articles.
Yet another list of unimpressive backward compatibility games, most of which are arcade games. Really?
What about the games people really want to play???? People keep voting for games and we get these?
Bullets are cheap. Time to make a statement with these a-holes that have nothing else to do in their life. UntIL we react forcefully to these people, nothing will change.
Treat them like terrorists!
Boring? Really? Did you actually play the game???
Just finished liberating a military base that gives me access to bomber jets? Now I can bomb anyone. :)
The main storm line is quite good as is causing mass carnage!
Mediocre game at best. Single player is short and multiplayer is a rehash of previous COD games. Involves no strategy.
The problem with PS4 is that you have to reinstall all your games, patches, etc. when you install a new HDD. Wish they would add support for external drives.
What about the millions (the majority) in the US that have slow internet speeds. What about download caps?? Pre loading helps but you are still at the mercy of your internet speed and data caps.
Pop the disc into your system, go have dinner, and when you get back it will be installed. Downloading on slow internet connections can take many hours, possibly a day or two. Some of these games are 40G+.
And places like Best Buy and Amazon that allow you to buy game...
