Money makes you do many things. And sales make companies do many things. The thing is, Microsoft was so arrogant before launch that they're looking like a joke now.
The thing is, you can be an awesome PR guy if you're just honest and upfront. It doesn't take much, just take that stick out your a**. Yes the company tells you what to say but how you do it and how people react to you is completely in your hands ...and I think that Nelson and Mehdi messed it up pretty badly in the last few months.
But you're right, 50 million wasted kickstarter dollars would cause a much bigger uproar than 500 millions of publisher money. Activision has more than enough anyway and they owe us nothing ...Star Citizen is the complete opposite.
The thing is, their game looks like last gen on PS4. Of course there were no issues because both consoles can do much, much more than what they accomplished. Would like to hear that statement again once they get to AAA development.
Terrible is not enough to describe how awful it looks ...this might win worst cover of the last 5 years.

I'm actually currently playing through FC3 again with Ziggys Mod 3.0.
Far Cry 3 is better than lots of first person shooters in many departments. It was a great game with room for improvement so I'm hoping that they can make it even better. I was just hoping that it will be next gen only so that they don't have to worry about old hardware.
This is NOT a price drop ...for 399 the console itself is even more expensive than in the Kinect bundle at 499. Also of course E3 is all about games, it's the biggest gaming event in the world... the bigger question is about which games. It would be quite ironic if they would announce a bunch of Kinect games now.
Talk about wasted ressources ...I enjoyed Fable 1 the most but the series is far from good enough to justify such a decision ...sales might have been good but who's asking for Fable books and toys?!
If those are the only changes I won't download them as I won't play these on PC.

There's nothing wrong with that statement, it is the superior console version. It's only 720p with the same framerate on X1.
Yeah it has gotten pretty boring by now ...I stopped reading through them a few weeks ago.
& DICE ..who needed almost half a year to completely fix their game. I have high hopes for this but the chances that this goes wrong aren't actually low.
I've rarely read so many BS in one interview, congrats to having one of the worst PR guys that ever walked this earth MS. He belongs to Zynga just like Penello who did the most ridiculous kind of damage control on GAF. I hope that one day, only gamers work at gaming companies so that we don't have to listen to these cretins anymore.
Also there is to add that there aren't really any system sellers besides inFamous out now, it's almost selling itself. I can imagine demand increasing even more if E3 has some impressive game reveals.
Oh yes and the best thing is, my main reason for a gaming PC was Skyrim/Fallout with mods ...now it took me quite some time to get it running and after a few awesome playhours the game started to crash or take forever to load. PC gaming is great if it works but with a console you don't have to worry about anything.
Am I the only one who thinks that this is actually a hidden price increase for the console itself? Weren't there people claiming that the production of Kinect costs almost as much as the console itself? And if I'm not mistaken, you can get an X1 + Kinect + Titanfall for 500 bucks at the moment ...400 for just the console seems like a hoax.
If the beta doesn't destroy my hype completely I will buy this Day1 mainly for the coop :)
I still think that a good coop game is better than a great single player game... it's just a different experience to achieve things with somebody else. I just hope it has a lasting appeal and doesn't get boring after 2 weeks.
