I will hold my final judgement after E3 but I also think it will not be necessary. As of now the PS4 has:
- Superior hardware
- More announced games in total
- Multiplatform superiority
- Upcoming VR support
So Sony might be able to make this announcement completely irrelevant by showing the better games at E3. I'm expecting lots of crazy announcements this year as both are ready to show the next generation of their games and I'm expect...
RIME is without a question a next-gen Journey ;)

BUt you shouldn't place your bets on a release this year, I'm expecting Q1/Q2 2015.
Most wanted indie game after RIME and No Man's Sky. I hope all of them will be at E3.
I've built a 1500€ gaming PC a few months ago and I can tell you that I still prefer gaming on a console. The PC has definately a lot of advantages (mods, emulators, media capability) but when I have the choice of buying a new game (for example Battlefield or soon Watch Dogs) I will get them on PS4 for various reasons. It's just less of a hassle since it's completely built around gaming ...and I can live with a few missing effects ;)
Well that's what they got for messing up the greatest RPG franchise. I don't want to see Lightning and friends ever again and if FF15 & KH3 aren't up to the huge expectations then Square is close to being buried.
This just screams despair half a year after launch. Now they reverted almost everything they announced last year, congrats on a completely failed device MS.
The superior console performing superior, this shouldn't be news anymore. It's like if car magazines would report that BMW has faster cars than Volvo. How about talking about the game itself?
I wanted to say that Phantom Pain is about the conflict between Zero and Big Boss and she played a major role in that ...but I should've put it completely different :D
Both look pretty cool, oh what would I give for a next gen Gravity Rush ...my favourite Vita game.
Having Phil Spencer as avatar says it all. He's probably one of those who hated on Resistance and R&C.
Given the timeline of course The Boss will be there as well, I hope she will get a bigger role this time.
Well they have a new console that should breath new life into the series... even if it's just graphically people will go crazy. But I for one am much more interested in Destiny simply because it's a coop RPG that plays like Halo.
I played GTA and Unreal when I was six and I turned out pretty good. Diablo is one of the 18+ games where I don't see any problems at all if the kid is mentally healthy. And isn't there an option to turn off the gore/blood? I would soo play this with my six year old son if I had one :D
My PS4 is waiting for this since she was first booted up. I didn't get the AddOn for PC just because they announced the console versions, it's just so much better with a controller. August seems like a perfect time as well, so I will have about a month to enjoy this before Destiny launches =)
Funny, to me it's one of the worst. The horrible artstyle coupled with all the half-assed gameplay mechanics made it unplayable for me.
I'm pretty sure it will be at E3 but noone in their right mind expected a 2014 release. And I appreciate it, they should take their time with this ambitious project, I can wait for a good game.
It's certainly on an alltime-low but it only takes one considerable comeback to turn things around. It's not like gamers are particularly resentful, we don't care about the predecessors if the next thing is spectacular.
Yep, Reggie is just fine but Iwata is a mess. I can't believe there are any disagrees with that on N4G, it's going downhill with Nintendo since he took over in 2002 (remember that it takes a while until changes become apparent ...like the Wii 4 years later which is a core gamers nightmare) so I hope someone at Nintendo manages to get him out because apparently he doesn't want to leave himself.
I don't think he's capable of making Nintendo a great Videogam...
Persona 5 on PSNow would be a megaton, pushin the service like no other game could possibly do.
Doesn't matter whether they can afford it, they simply don't need to do that to remain competitive.
