It's not about "challenging gameplay", it's about the complex combat system in Souls (Poise, Agility, Stamina, many different Animations, Combos, etc.) and the much better hit feedback / collision detection that makes it much more interesting and rewarding than here. Combat is the center of these games and it seems like one is fun, the other not so much. And this review also mentions a lot of little flaws that are not present in the Souls series so I still stand by my statem...
The MP is promising already ;)
Very unique and intense, higher resolution and framerate will make it even better.
I can laugh about so many things but I really didn't find this funny ...rather unnecessary.
And don't forget the truckloads of money that are to be made with that game ....Bethesda ain't that stupid yo. Massive games like these just take a bit more time.
Yep, pretty dumb to jump to such kind of conclusions by a play test program ...to be more precise, I don't think I would hire playtesters before I've even announced the game they are testing. This stuff is done in the months before release.
Kotaku, 'nuff said?
The thing with game development is, if you have a fixed franchise you are bound by it's borders. Who knows, maybe the guys at GG suck at developing FPS games? Maybe they are meant for other genres? Trying new things is the first step to success and I'm pretty sure they wanted to leave the Killzone franchise for a while now. I certainly can't wait to see what they've been working on and I'm really hoping that they can leave the "mediocre shooter" box they are bein...
"Come on people were comparing Infamous to Titanfall for the March battle."
Comparing the sales potential and hype around two games and comparing the actual games are two completely different things.
Still there's no reason to actually compare these games with each other. Both aim for completely different experiences and they don't compete with each other ...further more, stating that one is better than the other before having played both is utterly...
I rememember getting 20+ disagrees a few weeks ago when I called this a bad attempt at a "casual Souls game". Funny how it all came true.
I don't see any problem with Nintendos decision, as an executive at Nintendo I would decide the same. They have an image to keep and actually I can't believe how some are blowing this out of proportion ...but picking on Nintendo apparently became a cool thing in the last few years.
We'll reach that number ...in 2050 maybe.
I would say 50-80$ too much. But 380$ for a refurbished (!) Xbox isn't a good deal if you can get a PS4 for just a bit more.
It's ridiculous for a while now but it seems like we don't have anything else at the moment. E3 has to hurry up already...
So insider contradicting insider, great.
MMOs have gotten monotonous and boring. For my taste even the Final Fantasy or Elder Scrolls series couldn't change that. We need Final Fantasy 15 and Elder Scrolls 6.
Looks like Ratchet & Clank + InFamous + Tony Hawk ...doesn't appeal to me honestly. Too over-the-top in my opinion.
"I can see Sony, at E3, coming out and saying these games will be ported to the PS4"
This would actually be pretty poor from Sony. Please take note Yoshida, we don't want this. Next gen is about next gen, not last gen. TLOU is fine because it's the best game ever made, even Journey would be fine ...but don't port over mediocre games just to have them. GoW3 would be more acceptable than this (even though I enjoyed Ascension for a few weeks online, the MP ...
This would actually be pretty cool if it wouldn't be 6 months too late.
I'm not a native english speaker but shouldn't it be "10 wishes every gamer has"?
Also, 1 extra page for every wish, not clicking through that.
Same here, I was always hoping for smaller and slower cars as well. The majority should be supercars of course so you can find a favourite and still be competitive but I wouldn't mind driving a VW Golf for a change ;D
