Seriously you Sony fanboys need to accept that the PS3 will be third this gen. According in official figures from Sony and MS ever since Kinect released the 360 has outsold the PS3 by 700,000 worldwide and continues to do so, the only place saying otherwise is VGChartz. Now I know VGC is your holy grail but you should really look as official figures more since you know they are official.
Just be happy with all the exclusives you got and leave out the sales because thats a gam...
Not a chance, they will be lucky to replicate the success of the original PSP. Obviously everyone on this site will think it will be a success but when you open your eyes you know that it doesn't stand much chance, just look at the 3DS now. I remember watching the bonus round on Gametrailers when it was announced at E3 and they made some good points for why it wont be huge.
Its a great piece of hardware yes, but only a small amount of people want dedicated handheld devic...
All you have to do is look at Sony's first party software sales and it becomes quite clear why it exists.
Well Star Wars Kinect just became a million seller. Star Wars fans will eat this up easily.
Why would they when Move is pretty much dead even Sony aren't making games for it.
At least with Kinect they have a userbase who will actually buy it.

Even with the leak Gears will still outsell Uncharted by a massive margin. In fact by year end Gear will likely be at 4/5ml while Uncharted will be struggling to reach 2ml, unless Sony bundles it with every PS3 like the...
Not surprising its a generic FPS with nothing thats stands out as unique game play.
In order to succeed in this over-saturated market you need to have 3 things:
1. Be called Halo or Call of Duty
2. Have a MASSIVE ad campaign backing you
3. Be available on the 360 (since it has the largest FPS userbase)
Without those things you are looking at average sales.
But this does explain why GG is moving away from Kill...
Wouldn't be surprising they are last in sales WW with the Wii and 360 consistently ahead of them.
Their best bet to win next gen is to start as early as possible.
Anyone who believes this is just kidding themselves. MW3 will destroy BF3 thats just a fact.
People who buy MW3 don't preorder games anyway the day 1 in store sales of MW3 will likely be double that of BF3.

It uses the Unreal Engine so the 360 version will likely have the edge, especially if Bioshock 1 is anything to go by (the same people making this Bioshock).
Sony just can't afford a Rockstar exclusive they have lost too much money, so it will be timed at most if even that.
