How am I trolling, they wouldn't cut the price if it was in high demand would they? That will be stupid business logic.
They must be comparing it to Kinect, and they obviously want it to gain more momentum and all they can do is cut the price.
Can't be many preorder, likely a reaction to how successful kinect is doing. Retailers are obviously trying to spark some interest in Move.
There hasn't been any advertising in the UK yet. This is likely all current 360 owners buying the standalone based on what was at e3 or previews on the net.
@D4RkNIKON
In order to have a sales explosion its going to need to appeal to the casuals and they pick the cheapest. Plus Kinect is suppose to be easy to use so anyone can do it thats the point. If you've ever played the Wii it requires a lot space to to play games like tennis with two people. The limitation of Kinect won't hurt its perception to the causals. MS is having a huge ad campaign bigger than Halo and the 360 launch Move doesn't stands a chance of outsel...
"sales of PlayStation Move are going to explode in the next 12 months"
If Sony really believes that I fear for their future...
@D4RkNIKON
Bluray is a disk format Move is an expensive accessory which is optional for all those games you mention but 1. Not a lot of people will be willing to throw down the sorta cash Sony is asking for an optional experience unless they got money to burn.
"I think Kinect will knock itself o...
Actually MS counts unit sold too, they stated that a while back.
“We count installed base differently to them,” he added.
“We count the number of units in the hands of consumers"

Im guessing Move support hampered development, at least the PS3 still got LPB and GT5. But this certainly will hurt Move's lineup.
Think everyone knows the 360 dominates WW now.
Its a significant upgrade from the previous 512MB. Throw in some usb sticks you can make 36GB cheap.
Not even close, MW2 (360) was 1.8ml preorders with one week to go.
In what way do you think its deep then?
MS will likely advertise the bundle not the standalone as will Sony too. They don't want new owners going into a shop thinking the can get a PS3 and Move for £50 and then find out it like £300 that will turn them right off.
If you live in the UK you would know that at the end of their ads they usually show how much the console is (£249) and if a causal sees the Kinect bundle price (£249 too) they will choose Kinect over Move since it will look cheaper....
Does anyone else feel that Sorcery's gameplay looks really shallow?
MS have played this gen very well indeed. With the kinect bundles and the slim MS can afford to do multiple pricecuts whenever they please without creating a loss.
I only see them cutting the price of the 360S's if demand significantly falls or the PS3 starts outselling it again.
That actually sounds like a cool idea, they could've really differentiated themselves from the Wii with that. Plus don't you have to "put on" the strap when using Move/Wii anyway so I don't see why that would be a problem with the glove.
Considering Kinect games will be built from the ground up, they can't just use the current Wii/Move devs so they need to expand.
As Kinect grows I can see a lot of other 3rd party devs doing the same.
"Microsoft will successfully sell its manufacturing limit of Kinect this year"
I agree they will obviously sell everything they have.
Im surprised how well the UK is taking the price though on Amazon its already no.1 overall and the mover and shakers chart is just...... wow http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/...
On its own its a bit pricey but still good value.
Surprising preorders are actually rising if you look at amazon. Its even charted in the UK too.
I agree the bundle sounds very good, alone not so much.
But at least the games are only £40 rather than £50.
Why is a Playstation site talking about Kinect? Isn't Move enough for them?
Must want to talk about something people are actually interested in then.....
