I totally agree, for a new Borderlands, I would like an expansive world without loading times. One that transitions between areas smoothly and doesn't look out of place with many unique enemies, quests and such.
I'm actually glad that they are thinking about this and not just following through and turning into some cash cow that pumps out something that gets too big.
I haven't played Saints Row, but for each game that was released, it looked like ...
I can't seem to get Batman: Arkham Origins through the marketplace, I can get it physically for £15, but it's £23 on Steam.
I can't get the GOTY on demand either, but I can get them all separately for a total of £14 whereas Steam are selling it for £15.
Dallout: New Vegas is cheaper on Steam.
Transformers, £15 on Steam, £19.99 on marketplace. I'll give you that one as well.
The Wi...
I feel most of these 8, 9, and 10's are pretty much the same games as something else or like the previous game in the franchise. Take CoD for instance, it gets a lot of 7, 8, and 9's, yet it pretty much is a big map back each year.
I used to play a lot of CoD during last gen and would buy it each year like a sucker. Each year they say that the engine is new, or show of some new tech (fish AI...), etc. I get into the game and it's just the same stuff from the previ...
I have checked some Steam reviews before, I guess it's something you could probably trust a lot more than these "professional" reviewers and even user reviews on metacritic.
I find metacritic to be filled with very biased fanboys on all sides than can really mess with the scores. I don't think people are just going to go on Steam and start talking **** about a game on a service that isn't trying to compete with consoles.
I don't like...
I like to see what other people think about a game I am going to buy, but I don't rely on them and make choices based on a review.
I like to watch gameplay videos and base it off of that. I've bought a few games just based off watching some of my favorite LPer's play a game I hadn't seen or heard of before and they turn out to be pretty good games.
The game is fun, but is repetitive. I bought the Season Pass so I played all the way through the Untold Stories and they are quite enjoyable. Some of the weapons and vehicles are good.
I managed to get 1000/1000 as well, so grinding the PP trials wasn't very fun. I couldn't do it all in one sitting, I had to do it in like 20 minute increments every other day or else I would go insane.
The new DLC or expansion looks like fun though, haven't bought ...
I wouldn't consider Valiant Hearts and Child of Light indie games because they aren't independently developed. Hell, CoL was developed by four of Ubisoft's studios.
The way I see it, if your game is being funded by a publisher or big companies like EA, Ubisoft, Sony, Nintendo, Activision, etc., it's not an indie game. You can still be an indie company. If you are bought out and work under a publisher, you are no longer an indie company because your properties...
I really enjoy watching Man at Arms. He makes some really high quality weapons and really goes into detail of how they are made.
TLoU was an amazing game, I don't think it will do amazing on the PS4 in Japan. If you look at it this way, most of the games on the PS4 are selling below 100k, only a few have sold over 100k.
Are Japan the kind of country to go out and buy a console for a remastered version of a game that did alright on the PS3?
I see a lot of people disagreeing with the fact that he is just doing his job and it is true. Maybe he did have an opinion on it, but he just couldn't say it to the public or he would be in trouble.
I'm just glad we have Phil in command, people will disagree with anyone who praises Phil, but things are turning around and look like they are going to improve over this generation while he is in charge. Do people really want Don Mattrick back or some other monkey in a sui...
@Dolf045
I don't know how many people were in the Alpha, but I can see their servers taking a heavy hit at launch. Not a very reliable source, but VGChartz has it at over 500k in the US for PS4 and X1. Imagine having up to that many people trying to access the same servers within the span of a few hours??
Anyway, looking forward to the game. Can't wait to play the beta in the next month.
I really hope so, I'm not saying it's going to be a bad game. I will get this game regardless, just like I did with Watch Dogs. A downgrade in graphics isn't going to stop from enjoying a new experience.
It will definitely be stunning, but I don't think what they showed is what we will get.
Hell, Watch Dogs still looks great, but it's not as great as what they showed at E3 2 years ago. The wind, the dust particles, lighting, etc. was amazing in that video. I don't see any dust particles and the lighting is lacking a bit.
I can see them doing the same with The Division, toning down the breaking of the glass, the snow particles, the amazing lighting...
I would like to know where you can pick up a brand new copy of Ryse for £25 or even less.
I think this year so far has been pretty decent. I have enjoying playing my X1 so far and I am pretty sure a lot of other people have to, as well as their PS4's.
I bought Titanfall, Thief, Tomb Raider, Rayman Legends and Watch Dogs.
I would like to get Murdered Soul Suspect, Metal Gear Solid V: GZ, PvZ:GW, and Wolfenstein.
Don't forget some of the indie or arcade titles like Trials Fusion, Child of Light, Outlast, and the upcoming Val...

I remember watching him play Slenderman back when that was released. Didn't think much of him, tried watching him play another game a few days ago, I just found him boring. The game he was playing was interesting though, but he wasn't.
I enjoy UberHaxorNova and Achievement Hunter.
My dad has only ever smacked me once in his life, he didn't like it at all. Some parents just don't like the idea of smacking a child. I can't remember what I did, but I respect my parents and love them a lot, regardless of how they disciplined me.
Just because it works for one family, doesn't mean it will work for all families. I wrote a little story about my brother below, I also forgot to mention that smacking never worked on him. My mom used to smack my br...
I'm only 22, I don't plan on having kids in my 20's, I'm choosing a smarter approach to life. Getting myself a career and working on that stuff a bit later.
Now, I remember going to a gastropub with my family several months ago. A table nearby had a young couple with a child that looked to be about 1 years old. The mom put on a cartoon for the child on her tablet. The child seemed happy, quiet and wasn't making much of a fuss. For no unknown reason, the mo...
This is getting harder and harder... I thought I already had my list sorted out for day one releases in October. Going to have to think it over again and replace a game for this one...
