They could have like a Platinum membership. You get everything that Gold members have, but you get to pick like say 2 publisher packages, so let's say Ubisoft, EA and Activision have this subscription based service, you could 2 of them. You can switch around every month if you wanted to, but you would lose access to the "free" stuff from that publisher the next month.

I won't be buying it at launch on consoles anyway. £50 for an MMO and then a subscription is a rip off.
I think with Rayman, they decided to go back to a 2D perspective and graphics, but a unique art style and the addition of some amazing music levels.
I always found the music in Rayman 1 to be quite relaxing and great. I didn't really enjoy the 3D Rayman games. Them going to back to this style, but making a lot of improvements has really made Rayman stand out from a lot of other platformers.
Crash would have to be the same, I lost interest when they Naught...
Judging by how many people have signed the petition and the amount of days that have passed, doesn't seem like people care too much about it...
I can understand that people want to have big open worlds, but I would rather have a reasonably sized world that has a lot of content packed in.
Don't make a big world for the sake of it, pretty sure Fuel was like that. I had never played it, but watched some videos of it and it looks barren.

I haven't watched the video, don't particularly want to ruin anything for me. I was picking between this and Alien Isolation, but I decided to go with Alien Isolation on release day. I will pick this up a bit later though.

Out of the 100's of indie developers, how many of them have come out and said that they hate the way MS is going about with indie?
I understand that she would like to obviously create a fanbase for herself, but why would their be a headline about it? The fact that it has to specify GamerGirl just to get hits.

Good on them for doing this, but it's not going to be easy when they will most likely be going head to head with Dragon Age. I feel most of the games coming out this holiday have a competitor within the same genre coming out around the same time.
I will definitely be getting this game on release to show my support. Looks like a mixture of all the games I have enjoyed over the years.

Sadly, that's business. This is what separates your average joe from the CEO. You have to be tough and not give a crap to be a CEO and make the company money. Your average joe actually cares about other peoples well being.
This is not a shot at MS in anyway. This could be said for any company that is looking to make profits. They get new people in charge all the time and they have to basically one up the previous CEO, they can't think of ...
I finished everything in this game last month and it was great. Got some great facts, great art style and an interesting story.
I would highly recommend this game.

MS allowed plenty of people to make games on the 360. Remember XNA? A framework which is used to program games?? I think you had to pay like a fee to put them on the 360. Now, they give you free dev kits and I don't think they charge you for anything.
I know MS weren't as open about indie games on the X1, but they are trying and it can only get bet...

Definitely, I used to enjoy coming onto my 360 and seeing a new demo appear, most of them I would download straight away and really wanted to see what the game was like. Most of the time I was really interested in the game and pushed me to buy it.
It's just giving people options, it allows people who don't play games online that ability to play single player games. It benefits everyone that sees the value in this service, Gold or not Gold.
