It's great that they are opening up to western games, but UC3 and TLoU are both on a platform that has about 10 million sold in Japan compared to 600k.
Killzone Mercenary sold 40k in Japan. Battlefield 4 sold 90k on PS4 and 240k on PS3.
GTA V did amazing at 760k.
I just don't see this game hitting BF4 on PS3 or GTA V on PS3 kind of numbers in Japan. It will probably be between Killzone and BF4 on PS4.
I've heard people saying that shooters don't do very well in Japan. Again, I don't really keep track of that kind of stuff, but if it's true, would this game sell that well in Japan. I have checked some games sales in Japan on the PS4 and they aren't that good. Knack was the best at 400k or so, the rest didn't even break 100k...

How can a console fail when it is selling? People are still buying it and are still playing it.

I have all of those besides Deadfall Adventures... Was actually thinking about getting Deadfall Adventures when it was released.
It doesn't really bother me, as long as it's for the right reasons, they know what they are doing and don't make a point.

Lol I actually changed the ethnicity, gender and sexuality a couple of times before I posted it.
It started off as:
Black Transgender who is gay
Multi-Ethnic Transgender who is gay
Multi-Ethnic Transgender who is bisexual
Then ended up being what I posted. To be honest, I wouldn't have a clue that sexuality someone would be if they had both parts.
I don't see why people are making an issue with the gender of protagonists...
You can't please everyone or else Link would be a multi-ethnic hermaphrodite who happens to be bisexual...
You can't have him being one race, one gender or having one sexual preference, he can have them all O.o
Just leave games alone, play them and have fun.
Even though the Borderlands series is pretty good and has done quite well in sales as a new franchise, I don't see this game doing very well this year. Destiny looks like a better version of Borderlands.

For them to be thinking about telling people its situation , especially cancellation doesn't like he's confident that it will come.
I hope they get everything up and running soon, really interested in this game.
I've only played a bit of Max, but so far, it's quite a cool game. Really liking the drawing mechanic.
Haven't played Spartan Assault yet. I'm not really a fan of Halo at all, but I do enjoy top-down shooters.

If they were to include a female lead, they would most likely push the game back and it will affect sales. They would have to add animations, different textures, another voice actor and most likely change a lot of the dialogue to cater to a female character.
Just stop making this an issue, I didn't complain when I played as Lara...
Sony and MS showed both CGI and gameplay for different games.
Uncharted 4 didn't show any gameplay, I've tried finding a video with gameplay in it and it's not there. It's a CGI trailer.
I didn't get to watch Sony's conference. It was on at about 2am in the UK, just too late for me. I did manage to check out some of the games they showed this morning and I am interested.
After all of the games that are coming out this year, hopefully I can play the majority of them, I will most likely get a PS4 for the launch of The Order: 1886.

This is why they need to make it appealing. I know you will always have those people that pirate games regardless of how friendly a service is.
Steam seems to be doing well and has millions of people to cater to.
I'm not saying MS will be able to have as big of a following that Steam has, but they can certainly work on uniting Windows and Xbox together to create a service that appeals to both audiences at a great price.
