This is another title I was going to hold off until later this year, but I've been hearing good things about it and I will be picking it up at either Asda or Tesco today.
I would, but I have quite a big backlog on X1, 360 and PS3... I'm getting better each year though, I used to buy every game on my list on release day, so it could be like 4+ games within a month and I would never play like half of them properly.
I've cut that down to 2 games on release day a month, but I try to space it out a bit so that I don't get any conflicting releases. Some I just can't help, but I am pushing back a lot of games this holiday for December...
I'm getting this game regardless. I never played the first two, but FC3 was an amazing experience. Hoping this game is just as good with a very memorable antagonist.
The only games I am getting on release day in November are:
GTA V
Assassin's Creed Unity
Far Cry 4
Dragon Age will have to wait for another time sadly. I actually should go back and finish Origins and then buy DA2...
I've never played a Forza game before, but I do enjoy an open world racing game, so FH2 is on my radar at the moment.
I really want Alien Isolation and The Evil Within, but currently playing Shadow of Mordor.
Not too fussed about Borderlands at the moment, I would be more interested if they released a current sequel.
Will probably get Bayonetta 2 when I feel up to it, would have bought it for another console tbh.
Sunset O...
Yeh, it's called Uncharted 1 to 3.
Think I might do this just because of the offer. I was going to wait till I got a PS4 to play this, but getting this for £3 on the PS3.
Played the beta of the original and the release and it was quite boring. Played the beta of ARR and it was 10x better.
Well, £3, you can't argue with value, especially when you are getting a free month with it and a free upgrade.
Looking forward to Tomb Raider, Crackdown, Scalebound, Superhot, Ori, Grave, Quantum Break, Below, Fable, Goat Simulator, and SSO.
There's only so long you can play it safe. Look at CoD, it sold a hell of a lot less last year than previous years. This formula will get stale for more and more people.
I find some of the best games this gen have been made by smaller teams. You don't need to spend millions on a game if you have passion and it seems to me, these guys have lost their passion.
I don't think the console would what it is today if Phil was in charge from the beginning. The original concept of the console is something that people didn't want and it's something they can learn from and even other companies.
You have to make mistakes as a person and as a company to learn from it and improve on it in the future.
I'm loving it, and it's quite challenging, especially when you get 30+ Uruks with different weapons, a Warchief and like 3 or 4 Captains. I'm constantly getting destroyed by groups.
It's also fun being able to manipulate a crappy little Uruk to the top, having to take out other Uruks that are out to get your pawn.
I've been enjoying the hell out of this game, I'm still only level 21 and have been working on my Vanguard rep and getting marks.
As of now though, I am occupied with Shadow of Mordor, but I really should play Destiny on and off to get rep and marks.
This, a game shouldn't need a chance if it has a certain standard and isn't intended to be used to screw over customers.
I have actually never heard of this game and it's quite sad to hear about a title not making it to another platform just due to the lack of advertising.
I wish Sony and MS would at least give these games some sort of publicity. Hell, they could create sections on there stores or on the front pages to show what is coming out in the following month, show some gameplay footage of the game, etc. They could have an indie Spotlight each week to show off a new upcoming indie tit...
My favourite graphical/physics feature in gaming has got to be water and particle systems. Just so fascinating how they can make it look so realistic and flow so naturally.
Definitely some of the most talented people around.
Because Shadow of Mordor wasn't hyped up like a lot of other games are or were. Destiny was hyped up big time. Alien Isolation is being talked about, especially with the DLC stuff.
Evolve comes out next February O.o
I have only played a Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising by PG. They were great games, I tried a demo of Vanquish, not too keen on the mechanics to be honest.
Anarchy Reigns wasn't my kind of game. The rest I just have either never heard of or didn't really interest me.
I'm looking forward to what this game is about, I keep saying to myself that this will a Monster Hunter like game...
Not a game I could say was on my radar, but I will probably pick this up a bit later. I'm too busy playing Destiny atm, SoM comes out on Friday, so I will also be busy playing that.
I always say the same thing every year, these amazing games are always being released in October or November, when some of the bigger titles are hitting.
June and July are times where there aren't a lot of games which is when certain games should be released.
SoM was the other game I didn't plan on getting on release day, but I did and I don't regret it at all. Just finishing it up at the moment.
