I was having a hard time deciding which games to get in October. This game was going to be a December purchase and was going to get Alien instead. Decided to swap it around because I really want to play this game.

Gameplay looks solid, dialogue will be interesting, and the nemesis system will be fun to observe.

Cannot wait for Friday... Going to have the whole weekend to play this without interruptions.

I don't see it as a sleeper hit because it's getting a reasonable amount of publicity.

I would consider Shadow of Mordor the sleeper hit, not a lot of publicity and suddenly it's getting great reviews and praise just before release.

I would buy Bayonetta 2 if it was multiplatform. I haven't had my Wii U plugged in for well over a year. I would buy it later on, but the prices of Wii U games never seem to drop.

Why am I always seeing PS4 vs 360 comparisons?

Why not PS4 vs PS3, X1 vs 360, PS4 vs X1, etc.

You're either trolling or you are too young to know what Constructor is.

If this is true, this is a definite day one buy for me.

I used to play Constructor on the PS1 years and years ago. I never owned it, my uncle did though and I used to always borrow it from him.

I've also played it on the PC on a number of occasions. This is just an out of the blue, weird title to bring back, especially one next gen consoles.

I could see Lords of the Fallen being a bit of a sleeper hit. Sleeping Dogs was the same and it was an amazing game.

I'm really looking for this game.

@vishmarx

I have to say, I like the idea of this system. Don't think I have ever been disappointed with any of the battle systems in FF.

Although I really enjoy the Souls series, it suffers from clunky controls, slow combat and repetitive tactics in terms of combat.

The mobs aren't hard in Dark Souls, you will die on multiple occasions, but you learn how they move and they become easy. Some you can just exploit easily.

This guy has probably played this game over and over again, so he knows how to move and when to hit. This game also looks a lot smoother than Dark Souls, so I am hoping for ...

@Septic

I am watching the gameplay demo at the moment.

Noctis is switching between different weapons, he is also working with his party to perform I'm guessing combo attacks/abilities.

It also looks like there are 4 options in the bottom left hand corner, it has to be something. I don't know Japanese so I can't translate it.

I don't understand what was so depth in the other FF games in terms of options.

No FF game made you frantically push buttons at all. You made a selection and pressed one button.

The only game I remember making you press multiple button combinations was FFX with the Overdrive system.

Each version of FF has increased the combat's pace. It turned from a turn-based battle system, to different variations of time-based.

I don't remember having to press so many different buttons to attack in FF, it was the D-pad and then X...

What I am liking about these games is they have this western appeal to them, yet have that Japanese spark still inside which I really like.

It truly makes me happy to see how these games look and how they play. Just watching MGS V and the detail in everything and even the humor just takes me back to early MGS.

Bloodborne just looks creepy as hell and it really suits the game. So dark and foggy, the particles are also really amazing.

I actually like both, I don't see it as a downgrade tbh.

You couldn't really see Behemoth properly in the first GIF, he was completely engulfed in flames, but the effect is really nice.

The second one you can actually see him, you also have the sparks of the flames.

Anyway, overall, the lighting is different and the time of day is different. The second one looks a lot glossier than the first one, looks kind of grainy in the first one,...

STOP!! To much insanity going on this year and next year.

I think I actually typed Far Cry 4, but made a mistake and took it off without realizing it lol. Completely forgot about LBP3 as well... See how insane of a list this could become.

These are only games that have a release date, there are probably others I have missed, but people will get the gist of it. Hell of a lot of games coming out, don't think my wallet is ready.

I'm still getting the game on release day, probably won't get the DLC though.

Don't really understand why a lot of companies do this, especially when you aren't as big as Ubisoft, EA, and Activision. They seem to get away with this stuff all the time, even though it p***es people off, most people still give into DLC for their games.

Why not just give some of this DLC away for free, this will give them a good name and people might actually buy ...
