@dudebro:
They're not timed because Sony paid for them, they're timed because indie dev studios are small and can only work on one platform at a time. One reason a lot of indies are going to choose Sony is because the installbase is twice as big, meaning they can make bigger immediate returns before they start working on the other versions.
Sony's also helping them with publicity since lots of indies go unnoticed but Sony's putting them front ...
Yup, it's a giant source of revenue for MS and it fits with their vision of a "single box under your television set" since they wanted everyone to buy their consoles, including non-gamers. Non-gamers don't contribute any money to MS since they don't buy software so they'll have to get money from the non-gamers by having ads and app paywalls.
VR is exactly what some of the Japanese market would want, especially if they add some "weird" games, just for Japan.
Morpheus, PS Move, and a moe anime chick? What can possibly go wrong other than it would probably sell like crazy for all of the wrong reasons.
Or, they can start making anime games that make you feel like you're a part of the world. That would also sell like crazy. The hikikimori (recluse) problem will be even greater, though, s...
@MrSwank:
Indie means independent, as in "not owned by a publisher", that's it. It has no bearing on budget and many AAA titles are made with less money than many indies. Star Citizen? It's indie and it has a budget of $45 million right now. Lots of AAA games don't even cost that much. Hell, one of the best games of last gen, Uncharted 2, cost $20 million.
Also, lots of AAA studios are mismanaged or the money isn't being used efficie...
What's it matter if they brought their A-game or not if their non-A-game was still amazing? A professional sports team doesn't have to bring their A-game against a high-school team to win.
Sony's presser still appealed to me far more than MS's since Sony mostly announced new and ambitious games or just things that are refreshing to see. MS just showed us stuff we knew about, except for Tomb Raider being exclusive which left a bad taste in lots of people's ...
@joab77:
ARMA II mod, and ARMA II doesn't look that great nowadays.
@Sharingan:
Hell Blade and Heavenly Sword. There's no way the two games aren't related.
I love how they used that crappy reaction cam teaser to make us think it was gonna be garbage. Sneaky bastards indeed.
I wonder how Shinji Mikami feels about them poking fun at the way The Evil Within is being advertised.
Don't f*ck with me! You better not f*cking f*ck with me man!
Edit: HOLY SH*T HE WASN'T F*CKING WITH ME!

Not sure if complaining or just asking a simple question, and neither are many of you who "disagreed".
I guess so. It looked pretty generic to me. Would've been much better if they went with a different setting since it just feels like a regular shooter with time warping abilities, which aren't new or exciting.
The shooting mechanics looked good, but would have preferred old-school Remedy with a more emphasis on "hipfire" and less on ADS which is killing shooters.
Co-developed by Sony Japan.
Can't decide over Rime or Wild. Also, what's up with the ominous single syllable names? Not complaining, just want to know why it's become a trend. Probably the simplicity.
Did you forget that Destiny's exclusive content for PS consoles got tons of rage from the Xbox camp? And it's only exclusive content, not even full exclusivity. It's also not an established franchise like Tomb Raider. So I'm pretty sure this happens on both ends, the outcry over Destiny is a little much in comparison, though.
Personally, eh. I'm already getting an Xbox One for Halo MCC, I might get this, might not, might be in my giant backlog, might not. ...
@BigPappy:
So you hate Playstation fanboys because they're annoying and that turns you off from the platform, but you ignore the fact that Xbox fanboys are just as annoying and apparently, you own an Xbox One... If it bothers you on one end but not on the other, that probably means you side with one and not the other. What I'm saying is you're an Xbox fanboy.
@hasj1990:
There is matchmaking, just not for Raids since they want Raids to be with friends, not with randoms. That's not that bad since randoms often suck or they just don't care but playing with friends will be more coordinated and communication will be easier. They're making the right choice since in actual MMOs, doing raids with randoms will lead to a lot of deaths and most people choose not to, so they form guilds to do raids.

Sure, kids and parents might be asking you about the PSP2 but it's likely they haven't even heard of the PS Vita because of Sony's reluctance on advertising it. If Sony actually advertises the thing, they could get some sales.
But is Pach Back in Black?
You really didn't expect SOCOM to be like Halo, did you? I love them both equally but for very different reasons.
@Askanson:
I realize they're a business, but so are Nintendo, I don't see them moneyhatting anyone. Even Bayonetta 2, which is 3rd party isn't moneyhatted, it wouldn't have been made without Nintendo's help since it wasn't getting any funding and Nintendo stepped in to fund it. MS did the same thing for Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, and Sunset Overdrive and it's a good thing since in the end, the games were made. There's consumer friendly ways to r...
