PS and Xbox consoles likely won't be able to play with one another much, but PS and PC have been doing that for a while. Xbox consoles have certain games that are an anomaly and do it, like Portal 2, but it's not as often as PS to PC play (FFXIV ARR/DCU).
Like 360ICE, I know Steam does Remoteplay, but I'm not sure about Shareplay. They let you share your library, sort of, but it's not the same.
And Sony's been doing Remoteplay since around 2006 with the PSP and PS3. It wasn't as good as Vita to PS3 and especially Vita to PS4, but they had it.
Does MS have a JRPG like Disgaea 5 or Persona 5? Nope.
Does MS have a character action game like Bloodborne? Nope.
You can play that "they don't have this genre of game"-game in various ways.
I don't see why people say that. It looks really good and it looks like it's gonna control very well, but Uncharted 4 can fill that role just as easily. Maybe even The Order 1886, but I kind of doubt it with that one.
Meh, I don't use voice chat at all, so it doesn't bother me (maybe I will when H-Hour comes out!). I think you can plug in a mic through your DS4's 3.5mm audio jack, but I'm not sure if you can do that while having sound come through from optical audio.

No it isn't, but its highly influenced by Gaikai. Gaikai was streaming of games from a server, Shareplay is having the host PS4 act as a server to stream games to someone else. You can bet that Shareplay/Remoteplay (and obviously PS Now) wouldn't have been created or won't be as good as they are currently if it weren't for the Gaikai acquisition since they likely got a lot of the infrastructure and ideas for both features from Gaikai.

And yeah, their products tend to be really high quality. They also make the best gaming TVs with the least amount of lag. The next best thing is a monitor, but monitors are crazy expensive compared to TVs.
True, it's a small sample size, but the sales don't lie. I don't know if people in Europe really feel that the PS4 is a premium product or not compared to the XBO, but they do buy it a lot more than the XBO.
So I guess you see the XBO's entire library as really weak then? Because a lot of the games that people were claiming were good reasons to own an XBO can be found on PC, including this year's games (for most of the first half anyway).
And depending on how you feel about "platform exclusives", which are games exclusive to Xbox, PS, or Nintendo platforms, both consoles might have even weaker libraries considering some of their best games are on the 360 and PS3...
