Well, you're much luckier than I am. I can't find anything that's not scratched to hell, hence why I said I personally wouldn't use it. I still said I'd like to have it just for the option.

Good luck finding physical copies and good luck finding them in a good enough shape to play. Every PS2 game I find has taken a serious beating.

The PS4 doesn't have PS1, PS2, or PSP hardware inside it allowing you to play them easily. So even if they did allow for discs to be used, the discs would be pointless unless they've updated the emulator to emulate that specific game. I'd like if they allowed for disc usage since that's just more options for the user, ...

The team that made Siren is currently working on Gravity Rush which is getting a lot more buzz. I dunno if they're gonna go back to Siren if Gravity Rush 2 is a hit since each of the Siren games together sold worse than the already badly selling Gravity Rush (even though these were all great game).

They could have another team make it but without Toyama (director of the first Silent Hill, the entire Siren franchise, and both Gravity Rush 1 & 2), I don't think it&#...

That's the only way to play for me. Best way to do it against single guards (meaning no other guards in atleast 30-40 meters) is to dive, knocking them down, and then pointing your gun at them. This gets rid of the need to choke them out if they try to counter you with a knife.

@Irishguy:

No, those games are not "strictly casual", but they are the biggest games to draw casual audiences. Just like there's a nerdy side to Star Wars where people are extremely knowledgeable about the lore and universe, go cosplaying with expensive and complex costumes, collect figures, etc., Star Wars also happens to draw massive crowds of literally everyone else as well simply from being entertaining.

And the topic was "PS to (I'...

Yo, McDonald's and various other American fast food restaurants are fairly popular in Japan. Disney films and Apple products even moreso. Japan has their own Disneyland for crying out loud!

Tell me, what "casual" content are you talking about? Because the 6th and 7th gen's casual content was mainly sports games, shooters, and GTA. The PS4 has every non-Xbox exclusive shooter, sports games, and GTAV. That's all it needs to capture casuals in terms of games.

Children friendly content? I agree, I want my PS1 and PS2 mascot platformers back. The difference in recent years is that GTA, COD, and Minecraft are the most popular games among kids, so chi...

Why do people put Kinect and VR on the same pedestal? Kinect didn't do much to enhance people's gaming experiences, it just diverted and distorted it. You can't play complex games with complex control schemes solely using the Kinect, it has to be paired with a controller for that. When devs did that, the Kinect was relegated to voice commands or simple gestures that could easily be done with normal button commands meaning the bulk of what Kinect is was not being used due to how li...

SCE Japan Studio is crazy. They don't behave like a normal studio since they've got a ton of internal teams fully working on their own projects, so it's like a collection of studios using a single name. I'd prefer if SCE Japan Studio gave each internal team their own name like Project Gravity/Siren has so we can at least get a sense of who's who rather than just a monolithic name.

That's just my industry interested self talking, I really don't mind...

Lol. It's almost impossible to understand the story even after playing them all. You're just setting yourself up for failure by jumping right into KHIII or II.8.

I'm just gonna call it DDD+. II.8 is just too dumb of a name.

Because it's pretty clear the majority of the Xbox crowd doesn't really care for Square's JRPGs or JRPGs in general. The genre did terribly on the 360, including exclusives like Lost Odyssey (which was arguably last-gen's best JRPG...).

Square finally making a Final Fantasy game available on an Xbox console was supposed to be a huge blow against Sony, but it never manifested in anything significant. The PS3 still managed to sell more copies of FFXIII and its s...

No, but they won't waste money developing it for a system that won't see many sales of it. They're using basic cost-benefit analysis to make a judgement.

The market for heavy coats is probably non-existent in the tropics, but I'm sure you'll sell some. Does it make sense to set up shop there and have a large portion of your products be available there? Or would you rather focus on both supplying your products and opening up shop in areas where there's ...

For features to stay, they need people to work on them and to keep them up to date with all of the updates to both the consoles and Facebook otherwise there could be errors between each. It's a pretty dumb idea to have people do that for something that's barely used when they could be on a job that makes something that people will actually use.

It's like having a dedicated straight to calculator (clickable and mechanical) button on a modern phone. The amount of mo...

I don't think there's as much impact from an update as there is from an announcement, atleast if that update doesn't show a ton of progress which I doubt there has been for atleast the FFVII Remake, maybe Shenmue III too. The FFVII Remake likely just started development, Tetsuya Nomura, the freaking director of the game didn't even know he was going to be directing it until hearing about it in a stream. Recently he just left being the director of FFXV to direct KH3 and now he&...

10 million Vita users and only half a million sales for the game. Doesn't seem like Vita owners want the game in the first place.

Sorry, I'll take a bigger and better game that's not held back by the Vita. Hell, the first game was originally supposed to be a PS3 title, so the Vita "stole" it in the first place and then it was gimped to run on it.

"It's his opinion", you say it like that doesn't mean people can't rail on the guy. Tell me, what do you think of people who think gaming causes people to do violent things without any evidence beyond "aggressive thoughts" and often biased ideas in their heads?

Have all the opinions you want but if you expect anyone to care about them then they better have something worthwhile about them, namely logic and evidence to bac...
