Why would Sony need a Halo or Gears killer? They'd be chasing their competitor's glory days that their competitor can't even reach anymore. MS is competing with themselves. Halo 5 isn't the Halo 3 killer people were hoping for and Gears 4 isn't the Gears 2 killer people were hoping for either. But that's besides the point.
Forza's a beast though and Sony need to get Polyphony to stop messing around and make GT meet the...

@Welly:
Grappling hook added nothing? So, allowing you quickly traverse between a vantage point and enemy placements is nothing? Heck, the level design itself was just an overall improvement that allowed for so many approaches, and the grappling hook played into that well.
Remind me of the times when you could stealth play the previous Uncharted games while enemies actively searched for you and followed you by climbing and working together.
Sony doesn't need a Halo killer. That just puts the ball in Microsoft's court. Sony does their own thing. Maybe they needed one in the past to court the market that was interested in it, but Halo's not the brand it used to be and now the "Halo killer" team has even moved on to greener (and more open) pastures.
I could ask where MS's Uncharted killer is at because even Phil Spencer said they've been trying to get one...

A "peripheral" isn't serious? What if it has a ton of games of its own? And it's not serious because you don't care about it? I don't care about Smash Bros. but I can't say it's release wasn't a "serious" thing, especially considering how beloved it is.
Uncharted 4 has some of the best enemy encounter designs and set pieces I've ever played. That's enough of a reason to replay the campaign. The multiplayer isn't perfect but it's fun as hell.

Gears 4 isn't getting blasted for being more of the same, it's being blasted for weak writing and a weak story. Knowing Gears, more of the same with how the campaign plays isn't a positive since the games are very "boots on the ground, hide behind cover". The games feel great and tend to have extremely polished mechanics, but they're the poster child of cover shooting and they should switch it up a little bit.
Uncharted 4 upped the ante on what the...

They likely won't get sued even if people get sick or have an epileptic attack since they'll likely have a warning about it. Well, they might get sued if everybody gets sick but if it's just a few, then they'll be fine.
No, he was just an idiot who never grew. He's always sulking about because his niece died even though it was his fault she was in any danger and he wants to protect his family from the same dangers he keeps putting them through. And then they tried making a human and romantic connection with him and that one chick which just felt even more forced than his entire character.

I haven't seen the list, mind posting it? Because every list I've seen has things that are either false or taken out of context to make Hillary look bad. Some things were true but they didn't make her look like the terrible human being you guys make her out to be. Can't say the same for Trump. He's even proud of some of the terrible things he's done.
The Democrats were not in power. There's a little thing called Congress that holds the power to make laws and get most of the things in this country done. For the majority of Obama's terms, the Republicans controlled it. Do you know what a filibuster is? It's when congressmen waste time to stop bills they don't like from getting their time to be discussed. That happened a lot. And the president can't do anything if laws and propositions aren...
Seems people don't understand what you guys were saying. Saying "I'm curious about the single player story" implies there's more than just a single player portion to the game. Words are weird.
Games used to be marketed towards the whole family with the Atari. This all changed after the video game crash in the 80s and the rise of Nintendo. At this point, stores started to move the video game's section to the toy aisle rather than keep it in the electronics aisle, and the toy aisle was split between boys and girls. Nintendo then had to choose which aisle to place the NES in, and they chose the boy's aisle and they heavily marketed their games toward boys. Since then, games ha...
Oh God, there's two rooks. You guys should do what they did in the Jet Li movie, The One, and fight to the death. And to incentive you two, the winner gets the Scorpio early and Phil Spencer will marry you with the console at Microsoft HQ.
I don't think Naughty Dog's, they don't have huge, open world games. Uncharted 4 had big, open areas, but it also hid the loading really well. Can't really do that for a true, open world, so Sucker Punch or Guerrilla seem like the more likely candidates.
2/5 doesn't really mean 4/10. Sure, mathematically it does, but these are arbitrary numbers applied to rating games. There's no real metric and not much, actual logic put into it. It's just a feeling you get. Like for instance, it'd be impossible to seriously rate a game as a 8.192048/10. Really? You've got a whole algorithm to figuring out how you feel about a game?
The 5 star rating system has a lot more "nuance" to it. The part that sucks ab...
If a game's old news by the time it releases due to an early announcement, that just means it's not exciting enough to keep people... Excited. Plenty of games that people have known about for a long time still have people hyped.
I guess doing the Fallout 4 thing means you can easily maintain the hype among people in the short amount of time between announcement and release. That's a great way to get people to buy a game that's not that exciting or that just ...
Fallout 4 was announced and then released within months of each other. Cool. Still had to wait years to hear anything about it. The 4 year anticipation wasn't fun. We knew they were probably working on Fallout 4 but we just didn't hear anything concrete about it. The approach with Death Stranding is pretty similar except we do actually hear about it. We still have to wait all the same. I'd really like for someone to explain their hate for the latter appro...
No, upscaling is still not fine, but it's better than not upscaling since that would be absolutely stupid to do. And since I still apparently need to say it, I'll demonstrate it instead.

I've used Gear VR while high and now I don't have a face because my Note 7 blew up.
