In regards to the "Fake Gamers" or even the casual market, they are partly to blame with the current slump in the industry, You see every time a gamer (Dude/Duddet ;D) drools over the latest half arssed iteration of their chosen franchise and pre orders it or whatever or when all the casual gamers rush out to buy the new Just dance or Rock band game, it sends a strong message back to the devs of said franchises sayi...
I personally never had a problem with "girl gamers" my little sis has been gaming since she could hold a controller lol, I remember being so proud after she finished Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast! She officially stepped up to Hardcore status after that. Not the toughest RPG but to stick it out till the end and find most of the hidden secrets was pretty impressive going by typical girl gamer stereo type standards.

Why do people have to disagree with personal opinions like my 1st comment? How can you disagree that I think one of my favourite games is Fatal Frame II ? Its ludicrous!
Its a tough choice for me :/ I say FF II because I think I played it more, FF 1 was just as great though.
It makes no sense to me either, I can only hope that Nintendo learnt from its mistake even though they don't seem to care all that much.
Not localising FF II remake could cause a lot of trouble, If the franchise continues to do poorly due to lack of sails Tecmo may stop making the FF games all together :/
I agree, I heard Tecmo was pretty annoyed at Nintendo for giving the middle finger to all the FF fans in the west, Does Nintendo still own the rights? Because if they do I can see history repeating...

True, Unless Naughty Dog plans on killing Uncharted off, they'll have to milk like all the other devs do. Personally I doubt Sony would want to lose one of its biggest cash cows.
