I really do want a 3DS but there's still just nothing available for me to justify a purchase imo.
@Iroquois_Pliskin
I agree that Kojima is in a position to make some pretty big calls, But last I heard he was having trouble finding anyone who was willing to back him with his new secret IP.
Its a shame if it never comes to be, as much as I love MGS and Z.O.E I know Kojima has so much more he wants show us.
A lot of gamers this gen don't know what its like to beat a ridiculously tough hidden boss, complete a level quickly or get enough points to get unlockables. Now instead of us earning rewards we have to pay for it... Id choose the good old unlocks over DLC, pre-orders & useless tropheis any day.
@handheldwars2
Couldnt agree more ;P lol
I agree, Majoras Mask had great characters and watching them going about there business around town and completing tasks for them so you can gain masks was great fun.
Im still clinging on to hope that "reboot" just means changing the game style/gameplay not a complete do over which would be a big mistake.
That character pattern woud make sense and addign Rebecca mite work. I would like it to be more like the original games with the feeling of being alone and scared of whats behind every corner even though you met up with a few friends every now and then.
Well just ignore DMC2, everyone else does. Capcom could still pull it off if they give Dante a shave and a good reason to get serious and start kicking some Demon A** in a epic journey to the centre of hell. Throw in Nero as a side character who gives Dante a hand or since Nero's arm houses Vergil's soul it could lead to Dante and Nero/Vergil fight! That's all I want then Id be a happy fanboy.
Yeah I feel the same way... RE6 has already been hinted as another reboot to the franchise, But even if they where to use new characters in the story it could still work as long as they aren't battle hardened zombie/plagas killers and we get answers to those questions like, what's the third rival pharmaceutical company and what are they planning? Also I think they need to step back and bring in the "Survival" aspects the series has lost over the years Action/Horror works wel...
Im not sure I've heard about that dream game :/ Well in the end Kojima is a dev like any other, So he's only able to make what Konami are willing to allow him too, or at least that's how I assume it works. Didn't he also mention some "secret adventure game" that if it flopped he would quit the dev business?.
Yeah that makes perfect sense, but I do watch a lot of anime, lol.
Im sure there's plenty of LoK fans out there who really want a reboot or conclusion to the story, So seeing as there's a ton of ways they could go about resurrecting the series It would make sense too, If they can make it a worthy successor to the title of Legacy of Kain.
It would make sense, I still think Capcom would be stupid to put out DMC-reboot with so many fans against it, its not like they're going to get that many new people to the franchise wanting to play either. Continue with the current story so we can get some of those questions answers.
A reboot or conclusion to the story would be great .
I would love to see a new IP from Kojima, Z.O.E 3 would be great too. I heard he wanted to start work on it after MGS-PW =)
Id like to see the reply in Japanese text, These translations are always getting things wrong.
On that I'll have to agree...
Dragon's Dogma, Now thats a game I'm looking forward too.
Good old unlockable content, how I miss thee. Now in have to pay for you... :/
I havent played the game so I cant realy agree, but I'll give you an agree anyway since some idiot disagreed with your personal opinion.
I think everyone at Capcom with any tallent got tired of all the BS and up and left.
The Capcom of now is making it... so we have reason to worry :/
Well, thats certainly not my list...
