@FogKnight22
You're very welcome! And it's going well thanks for asking.
I'm sure you'll think of something, there's never a shortage of material when it comes to the video games industry ;)
Dang it, didn't think my comment was that transparent lol.
Can't believe I won again specially seeing as I only submitted one blog last month :)
Thanks as always and congratulations to all the other winners!
Congrats FogKnight22! I knew you had it in you :D Keep it up and good luck with your next blog!
"It's not like they charge a lot"
That's kind of the point. Call me old fashioned but a new game should feel new and provide new content, instead of effectively being just an expansion pack.
People do realise that Capcom are just going to keep milking Street Fighter 4 until you stop buying it, right?
Not a good sign for Squenix, people will start to speculate Akihiko is jumping off a sinking ship.
This is just like what happened with Capcom when they started going down hill, good thing is we might see these talented devs getting taken on elsewhere, or even starting their own company ala Keiji Inafune and his new dev company Comcept.
Looks like Final Fantasy's finally jumped the shark, typically it's all down hill from here on unless someone at Squenix gets their act together for the sake the franchise.
Interesting indeed.
@moparful99
I think you'll find the developers created those games, Sony merely published them.
10/10 really? That's pretty funny :)
This sounds like the worst game ever! I might review it myself just for the lulz but everything I've read and seen of it paints it as just plain awful.
BTW, I would have waited till the poop icon selection was implemented before doing the review, lol ;)
So, is everyone gonna start calling it the xxxbone now? ;)
A art competition huh? did I mention I went to art college ;)
Seriously though, good luck everyone!
It depends on the game. I've played plenty that do it well but when romance is just shoehorned in their in order to tick a box, then nope.
Exactly, and all that leads to stagnation in the industry.
If they could only just scale back the budget required for developing AAA games, it would allow for more risk taking and diversity.
That's exactly how I found the PS2 game Odin Sphere, never heard of it before but saw it while I was out and picked it up, it's now one of my all time favourite video games.
Stop making FF-IIIX games would be a good start.
You should check out Onimusha 3's opening if you haven't already, definitely one of the best in video game history.
Good points.
Same goes for every company, if Nintendo or MS were to gain sole monopoly we'd certainly see a darker side to them too.
Regardless of everyones personal feelings we need competition in the industry to keep it from stagnating.
