The PS4 sold less than the Ps2 and yet made Sony 100x more money. Even Microsoft probably made more money from Xbox One than Ps2 did, Why do you think that is? People played and bought more games. Hardware sales is a pointless measurement.
Engagement is a better measure than physical sales. You could have a 100 people that bought Xbox's that play it everyday and buy games or you could have 200 people that plays Playstation and only 50 play it everyday and buy games.
People who run businesses understand this.

You clearly haven't played 120fps games. Playing a game at 120fps and then going back to 60fps literally makes you feel like theres something wrong with the game.
