This could very easily be your Xbox handheld, play smaller games native via Xbox App or bigger games via xCloud(no need to download the full game) . I hope Tencent goes through with it. There have been Windows 10 handhelds before. But they're all waayyy too expensive and not even that great, and they're not from any reputable companies. Tencent is an almost trillion dollar company so I trust them to do it right and affordable.

I've been taking the Xbox ecosystem for granted a little bit, seamlessly switching between streaming, PC and Xbox, you don't even need to think about it. You literally just launch the game and it works.

Nah, in terms of pure value (gamepass), most powerful console, amount of studios and 1st party exclusives to look forward to, it's actually a lot stronger than early 360 days. And they're not even done yet.
360 beats it only in terms of hype. The hype around the 360 was unreal. But overall Series XS gen is starting out unbelievably strong.

With that said I don't think ID Tech does well with open world games.
