I have absolute faith in Bloober Team, The Medium was an awesome game. It doesn't appeal to everyone because it's more of a walking Sim. But they absolutely nailed everything it strived to be.
10/10 Narrative
10/10 World building
10/10 Atmosphere
It even had some elements that felt like Silent Hill in some levels.
The only thing that held it back from being a masterpiece was that it doesn't have combat so i...
Both can be true.
Exclusives are technically bad for consumers.
But it's healthy for business and for developers.
And it's not like people are completely locked out from those Xbox games. More people have access to Xbox games than any other platform. Unless you don't have a smartphone or PC. Which is extremely unlikely.
Unlike Playstation or Nintendo where you can't access the games unless you own the one devic...
Sony is getting more and more draconian with their policies.
Pretty cool that Xbox One will be getting this via Cloud streaming. It's such an awesome way to keep supporting the older consoles through this transition.
And for Series X/S owners we don't even have to download the game to play it, we can just stream it, A game like this doesn't require millisecond precision, so I definitely see myself just playing this via cloud instead of downloading it, especially since the file is probably huge and i'm not that into fl...
The curious part is that they changed it to independent after the rumors started.
It could still happen but this does make it seem like it may not be happening after all
@SullysCigar
Hoping for what exactly?
Sony acquiring Bluepoint changes nothing for me
It seems like talks might have broke down.
They changed their Twitter bio to "Fully independent studio"
Wtf are you on about lol
It felt the same way when Xbox bought Playground Games lol
i could have sworn they already owned Housemarque lol
I wish I had a service like GamePass when I was a kid.
My parents couldn't afford to buy me games all the time.
During the Playstation 2 and OG Xbox era, I had maybe like 7 games in total.
Xbox had no marketshare in Japan. In a way that gives them a significant advantage with GamePass. All of the new customers will have access to all the Xbox exclusives for the first time! ALL OF THEM, no need to buy them separately or any nonsense.
So Xbox has no games thing, doesn't really work here since they haven't played any of the games that they have... Like Recore,Sunset Overdrive or Ryse and the various other games.
That meme in general do...
You think fortnite doesn't copy other games, just because it's the market leader? Before Apex you couldn't even revive your teammates in fortnite or ping stuff
Good to see Halo setting trends again and not chasing trends.
Too bad the game looks terrible
I'm honestly even more excited to see what The Coalition can do with this.
I hope they don't stray from that too much. Sure they should improve the combat but Hellblade is not a hack and slash combat game, it is a semi-walking simulator and it should still be that IMO.
I think that would only be possible for games on the Xbox store.
If I was working on a game that nobody heard about and people started associating my game with Kojima and Silent Hill, I would deny it publicly and keep throwing fake hints as well, I bet you they never seen this much traffic ever.
People who didn't know this game existed are gonna buy it even if it isn't a silent hill.
Microsoft does, it's just a matter of time
