Let's be real, the Playstation 3 retails for $440 in Japan, and the Wii retails for $250. Anytime the Playstation outsells the Wii for a prolonged period there is a problem for Nintendo. If the PS3 can outsell the Wii with no new software and a higher retail price that is no small feat.
If Sony cuts the price of the Playstation to $300, you'll definitely see a resurgence in the Japanese gaming market, but it won't be Nintendo leading the way.
No ones saying knock off the 8 million consoles the 360 sold before the PS3 came out, there's no need for that. The playstation 3 has sold more consoles per year, and the 360 has sold more consoles overall.
However, I think it's pretty clear at this point that when the playstation gets a price drop Sony will easily outsell Microsoft.

Well apparently this Joker is going by VGchartz's numbers, and even when looking at their data his speculations are way off the mark. The game has only been "officially" out for one week in America and Japan, meaning it sold about 400...
The graphics in the single player footage, starting at 10:00 minutes, look alot better than the online portion.

No people were saying Fable 2 was a flop because it was a proclaimed game of the year candidate and it got 8's from many publications. An 8 for a game like Valkyria Chronicles is a wonderful score.
