Yea I definitely wasted my time writing all of that, especially considering that a large number of the people that enter this article probably can't read =)
But I stand by my statement. XBL & PSN games are in a completely different category, since in most cases they cost no more than $10 or $15 and are usually graphically inferior to full release titles. If they were full priced releases and were held to the same standards as retail games, their average scores would be a lot ...
Right?
It's funny because I didn't see Tekken or Final Fantasy on that list...
did you?
If I were you, I'd find a new hobby ;)
And yet another "exclusive" list with multi-platform games on it. I know Mass Effect 2 and Gears of War aren't available on the PS3, but still the word "exclusive" really shouldn't be used for games that can be played in their entirety on another medium. I mean it's not like the stories are different in the 360 versions. If they were then I could see its inclusion as an "exclusive" but they're not so...
And even the inclusion of the God of War Collec...
Well the import review was a 7, and their domestic review was a 6 so... they're are the only site that has yet to give the domestic version a review under an 8.
I'm not saying that they're review isn't valid, but they seem to be in the minority.
Yea I never buy dlc but I will buy any dlc released for this game hahaha
hope they put in everything they cut, really don't care how much it costs lol
I mean I loved God of War 3, but if all the content that was cut had made the final release...
this game would be unbefrigginlievable
Well since reviews are just opinions, it would seem that in the opinion of most "professional" reviewers Heavy Rain is a very good game. Hence its critical acclaim.
And yes, I would agree with most reviewers in saying that GTA 4 was better than 95% of the games that had been released up until that point. What some of you seem to be forgetting is that Grand Theft Auto came out before nearly every other critically acclaimed of the generation. Before Uncharted 2, LittleBig...
Heavy Rain average review score: 87
Just Cause 2 average review score: 81
wow didn't know an 81 was blatantly better than an 87
sarcasm/
I think you hit it right on the the head BBoss. Heavy Rain is a very memorable game, it's definitely a game that I'll remember 10 years from now. Just Cause 2 while fun, really won't be that memorable for me.
Good list, and it's only April... what a great year so far
This comment is quite possibly the best argument for Pro-choice that I have ever seen =)
Thank you "the warriors" your nonsensical dribble has given everyone a good laugh
This comment "redefines" stupidity...
har har har see what I did there
Keep crying...
Seriously, why do you have to try and start something where ever you go? Just read the article and move along if you don't like it
Gamecritics you didn't like the game. We get it. Why do you need three separate articles in addition to your review about how much you disliked Heavy Rain?
It seems like the fact that this game is selling well above expectations, and has an average review score 47 points higher than the review they gave is really getting to them.
It may start off at a slower pace, but anyone who sticks with this hidden gem will be handsomely rewarded with one of the longest current generation games I've had the pleasure of playing.
Hopefully all of the recently leaked videos are an indication that the CES 10 demo will be publicly available soon. One can only hope right =)
Well, I'm not agreeing with them. I personally dislike teletext and all of those other "bias" fanboy sites to which you're referring, but I'm not going to upset myself over an opinion. Especially an opinion from a site I don't respect.
edit: and before anyone says anything, I realize I misspelled opinion in my first post =(
Bayonetta above Mass Effect and God of War?
April Fools...j/k
well I guess that's why they call it an oppinion
Is this a joke article? or are they being serious? I really can't tell by the summary
What are you talking about? It still has a 93 on metacritic
Hahaha yea man of course we're all friends here, and I try to keep it friendly with everyone. We have different view points, and I think that when we share our views in a rational and intelligent way we can all benefit.
