The main portion of the DLC isn't out yet. New story DLC and a new dungeon are well worth $20 for me alone, the other stuff is just a bonus.

I've put over 200 hours into BotW and still haven't even done 80 shrines yet. I've only unlocked 11 of the 18 memories and gotten just 118 Korok Seeds. You're just mad because you know BotW is going to win game of the year.
I've got over 200 hours in BotW. $20 more for everything they're offering in the DLC is perfectly reasonable to me.
Decent third party exclusives? I'm pretty sure you meant FIRST party exclusives. For me, no one makes better games than Nintendo on as consistent a basis.
Chrono Trigger, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Trigger. I've played that game at least 15 times and I'd still like to play it again. Missed opportunity as well as Dragon Warrior V and VI.
I've got a 1080p tv and have no intention of buying a 4k tv for a long time. Until my tv stops working I won't be getting a new one and I doubt it will stop working anytime soon.

To be honest from what I've seen of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 it doesn't look like it will live up to the original Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii but it still looks like a really good game. Just out of curiosity, have you played the original Xenoblade Chronicles?

Just got it today and it's my first foray into the Disgaea universe. I think I'll really like the game but inventory management seems like it will be a bit of a pain to get used to.
