Your statement is confusing,the ps3 was already out by the time of the interview,the wiiu hasn't hit retail yet and if this is true,wouldn't make sense to have more units because obviously people want the system.
You're kidding with that fourth video right,it was really pointless and most of the stuff looks impractical,this story was already posted,what with these reoccuring articles.That near function is counter by smart ar.
@nim They are not advertising the ps3/vita combo as a counter to the wiiu but if you have either or both,the connection between the two devices will be close enough to be similar to the wiiu.
The wiiu still has a stronger gpu than the ps360 so even with slightly weaker CPU it should have better visual with launch games because the gpu is similar to the 360.
@alpha You're lying most of their first party games didn't use much of motion control and cross play would be a benefit for anyone who has a vita or ps3 ,they can't build a game around the ps3 combo but features can be added to make it comparable to wiiu.
@thepcz You're trying to hard,the vita cross play is an extension of remote play,and the ps3 is better than the ps1,you mean ps2 because they have more in common than the ps1/ps3.
@hirisu third party dev didn't really support the wii mote and they are not guaranteed to support the tablet either. You are confusing what I'm say,just because it's there doesn't mean third party dev have to support it.
A head start means nothing if the can't stir interest for the console,people like to think the ps3 is in it's current position because of a head start but the high price plus it being difficult to develop for are what held it back.

@pop A format change can make thing alot more efficient by having more reliability,ease of use,better image quality and more space capacity,this applys for blu-ray to DVD but it is best demostrated by VHS to DVD.
@Ron the dreamcast wasn't able to play games on it's screen,people are saying it was the first to have a screen on a controller,maybe for tech reasons but gba/gamecube is not the same as the wiiu,wiiu is akin to the psp/ps3 remote play.
They don't lack depth,the controls are what's hurting them.
@lx You are right and wrong,remote play is more alike to the wiiu than the gba/gamecube connectivity.
Ken believe based on the spec ps3 was capabale not promised to do all that.

People rumor spec of hardware all the time,some are true others bogus, if a rumor is not exaggerated it provides a baseline for what should be expected.
Not entirely true, spec wise the ps4 nextbox 720 based of rumors are such.
Ps4:gpu a custom radeon Pitcairn gpu,high end powervr series 6,CPU: revised cell CPU,amd APu.
Nextbox 720: there hasn't been specific enough details regarding what will be in side but here's what I've read,a six core CPU and two GPUs or this one because Ms pulled this,a eight core arm CPU plus the 360 for backwards compatibility and radeon based gpu.

@ndivhu the studios being shut down,while sad were necessary because they weren't profitable,the 10k job cuts were done so Sony could reverse the damage the buisness model that they used to put them in their current situation and focus on emerging market and newer technologies so they could make money and halo,Mario should have no barring on the ps3 because they're exclusive and cod bo 2 seems to be the big ticket item this holiday season.
