College being the main factor why didn't get a PS3 sooner. The only reason I went with the 360 because it was given to me for free.
Before this gen I was with Sony. Even back in the PS1 days.
If you ask me its just a useless middleman system MS implement. The old method of playing used games was just fine.
I hope MS change their tune by the time E3 comes or before the system launches because if not some people won't be purchasing the XOne.
This should have been something MS address directly during the conference. Now we got multiple sources across the internet saying different things about used games and always online.
Honestly think I'm about to jump back over Sony ship or just go the PC route.
MS lost me with the...
"Isn't always online but requires a internet connection"
Then the whole might have to pay a fee to play used games.
At least when Sony did their conference they instantly dispel always online and rather or not the PS4 can play used games.
I didn't have to play Sherlock Holmes searching for answers...
Honest MS why even go through the trouble of building a useless verification system for used games, when the system/method in place is just fine?
One to rule them all

Third party wise I could see more developers jumping over to the One and PS4.
First party wise, only time will tell.
I'm not saying they will end support immediately. I'm saying not too long after the console launches. One year the least, two years the most. I highly doubt MS will support the 360 four years after the One launches.
Xbox One- All-in-One system
WiiU- We want to focus on U
The name will grow on you over time. I remember how people thought the name Playstation Vita was silly when Sony announced the name but now you hardly ever see anyone complain about the name.
EA said they was going to support the WiiU during Nintendo E3 conference. Now its 2013 and EA have done a full 360 and have a change of heart.
At most I could see EA support current consoles until the end of 2014 and then moving on to fully support next consoles.
Best way to push your new device on to a person is to stop selling the old device. Even if MS does cut the price its mainly to get rid of the old supply. Soon as that supply got MS won't have ...
Even though the hardware is upgrading every 6 to 8 month, android won't compete with next gen consoles.
Hardware isn't the problem its lack of dedicated developers. Games like Angry birds make more money than games like Infinity Blade. Sure high-end top notch gaming is neat on the go but majority of mobile users rather have some thing simple. Something they can keep them busy for 5 or 10 minutes until the bus or cab or w/e comes and picks them up.

Well given the past MS will close up shop not too long after they launch their new system. EA would be wasting it time and money after MS close up shop.
Of course they are going to charge you for games you already own. Like I said before its not MS and Sony but more of the publishers that want to charge for games you already own.
Capcom don't care if own MvC2 on your ps2 or ps3 because they aren't making money by giving the game to you for free.
Also the hardware is to blame for no B/C. Sony no longer using the Cell processor and MS is using a different processor as well. While they both could build...
Also we all known that "later this year" obviously means November
MS went with DDR3 because of the Xbox One OS, which has a larger footprint than PS4 OS. Sony went with GDDR5 because the system OS isn't that demanding or software-centric as MS's Xbox One OS.
It would've been silly for MS to go with GDDR5 as it would've been silly for Sony to go with DDR3.
If it can come on by voice recognition does it means its always watching and waiting. It got its One eye on you.
@Loveable
Bad accents usually don't work well voice recognition tbh.
Safe bet is that the ram is DDR3. Especially given that console os is similar to that of win8.
I'm just glad they moved away from Dvd drive. I was getting tired of disc swapping tbh.
You must not been with PWE long. In PWI, back in 09 a exploit was found that allow endgamers to get to level 105 within a matter of hours. When the community called a for server rollback and account bans, PWE said no and that it was nothing they could do.
The server went from have 3 level 105 people to hundreds if not thousands of level 105 before the exploit was fixed. Getting to 105 usually took months even with hyperstone(exp multipliers). Now was achievable with a matt...
After reading what said Phil Harrison about always online and the paying a fee just play my game on my friend's console, I'm going with PS4.
MS shot themselves in the foot with this bs. Only way I'll getting a Xbox One is if someone else buys it for me. Just when you think MS took a few steps forward you realize they took one gigantic leap back.
