When your game can be hacked using cheat engine then you know your game's security is sh*t
Of course you will have to re-buy your old games since there isn't a system in place to verify you actually owned the game. I don't think it's Sony who can't resist but more of publishers and developers won't allow it.
You think Capcom cares that you brought a copy of Marvel vs Capcom 2 on your PS2? They want you to repurchase because they aren't getting any money by allowing it to stream for free just because you own the game on a older platform.
When publishers and developers can show the benefits of having(for consumers btw) always online then I jump on board.
Right now however no such benefit exist.
I can somewhat understand why some publisher and developers would want a always online drm in their games(fear of pirating) but it can be a hindrance to legitimate buyers.
If it wasn't for movie or show tie-ins, some of those games wouldn't even got to 100K units
Desktop PCs will be around for quite a long time. Businesses and colleges still heavily use desktops. While touchscreen is nice it will never replace a keyboard. Seeing as some tech problems can only be solved with the usage of a keyboard.
This seem more of a Techspy article than N4G, btw.
I doubt Bob will get a talking to seeing as sports engineers are like gold to EA
You just answer your own question
"The GCN is one of the lowest selling major consoles in history and yet that console was profitable"
Why would they dropout if their console was profitable?
Considering that if Nintendo announced they were abandon the console business their stocks would drops. Not saying Nintendo wouldn't recover but this late into the game would quite risky to do something of that nature.
I know some people might say oh but Sega did it and survived. Sure but times were different then compared to now and not only that Sega previous console(Saturn) before the Dreamcast had perform poorly. It only attribute to Sega's debt at the tine. <...
I don't think it's that third parties(some not all) hate Nintendo, its more they don't want to put their product on their(Nintendo) system only to see it sale poorly.
If its 4.9 you might as well going ahead and give it a 5 tbh
These alternative E3 press conferences really don't live long. Just look what happen to E4ALL back when E3 was closing its doors to the public.
Well EA last MOBA, Warhammer: Wrath of Heroes didn't last long. I wouldn't get my hopes up with this new moba.
I hope it number 2 and pray that it isn't number 1.
Yeah I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet and if it is true, I pretty sure EA will come up with a alternative that work similar to online passes later on down the road.
They wanted to minimize cost as much as possible. Its don't right sad and mortifying how some companies treat their employees just to get a quick profit.
I hope Deep Silver/Koch Media don't follow down the same path.
Do note I'm referring to mobile APUs found in laptops. This doesn't include the APUs made for desktops or even the modified APU that PS4 will be using.

Razer would throw a high price for any of their machines(not saying Alienware wouldn't either) equipped with a 8970m gpu. I pretty sure Alienware will offer 8970m in their laptops later on this year. Since they already offer 7970m in their M17x and M18x laptops.
Yes if it passes, Joe Biden has no power to enforce a tax in another country. Now that doesn't mean foreign politicians won't do the same as Joe Biden.
When Ace Attorney 5 performs poorly Capcom will come up with some excuse.
Now if only AMD could make a good mobile CPU(not to be confuse with APU). Their APUs are able to outperform Intel's cpu's with no discrete gpu. When equipped with discrete graphics, the APU can cause problems and bottleneck the system sadly.
The MSI GX60 had a APU equipped with 7970m and the GX70 has a APU equipped with 8970m. Given the fact that GX60 had bottleneck problems due to the APU, I'm pretty sure the GX70 will have those same problems.
Actually the way it was handle was quite terrible to be honest. This exploit been known about since close beta. This is something that should've been fixed before the launch of the game.
