For what it is, it's pretty powerful. Way tinier than a PS3/360, uses less energy, yet outperforms them. Pretty nice design.
It's going to dominate 2015 for the same reason it dominated 2014.
Well of course Nintendo's gonna do that, they're SUPPOSED to promote their product.
With Wii U right now it's quality over quantity, but that's not going to get sales unfortunately. I'm just gonna play games... Especially with Nintendo's lineup in 2015.
I'm not saying the best console is the one that sells the most, but I look at the console war as the competition between console manufacturers to capture the most marketshare.
Wii did win the 7th generation. The console war is basically about who sells the most consoles. Once you start getting into game quality and such, then it all becomes subjective.

I loved the game, sooo creative.
I think Wii U deserves to be considered by merit of its high quality content, especially in this age where games tend to be particularly "incomplete". A lot of people like to disregard Wii U when discussing games because of stuff like sales figures and "Nintendo's kiddy and I don't wanna be a kid cause i'm a big man and I'm super mature which is why I play Battlefield yessiree". Usually just gaming politics.

Whether the games are must-have is subjective. It may not have a good lineup to YOU, but to ME, the lineup looks amazing. Literally every game coming out next year on Wii U (that we know of) has totally different gameplay from each other. That's exciting variety.
I'd get 10 or 5 dollar Watch Dogs for Wii U.
Give Splatoon a chance. It's looking pretty good.

It's just that quality has a certain effect on people. The media was hounding Nintendo if you just look back to 2013. In fact, the media has a much bigger history of targeting Nintendo with negative articles. So I disagree about Nintendo being "bullet-proof". In the context of this industry right now, the types of games Nintendo are putting out has an effect on some consumers in a way that makes them think like this.

So Nintendo finally announces a Starfox and it gets called a "given". Not to mention Splatoon which is a new IP, another thing people constantly ask for, is ignored.
Maybe Nintendo should just quit the game industry and make movies cause gamers are impossible to please.

PS owners are too mature for that game now. Sony actually grows up with their fans. You don't buy a mature console for kiddy games, unless you're insane.
