Nintendo consoles are the most innovative and the most durable. If I lose my favorite consoles and have to deal with a cheap Playstation/Microsoft console then i'll just get a darn PC. Doubles up as a computer/media box and I don't have to pay for online.
Agreed. Watch Dogs will also enhance Wii U's Spring lineup. The second half should consist of X and Bayonetta 2. I hope Nintendo confirms/announces more games for 2014. Yarn Yoshi is gonna be awesome so I hope that's announced for 2014.
Zelda U was not confirmed for release in 2014. Neither was Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, neither was Yoshi's Yarn. All of these games were just stated to be in development.

Maybe they think that PS4/XBO are generic consoles without games (because they just released), and Wii U deserves more attention because despite the media attacking the system, the system is actually enjoyable to use features and play games on (it has more games right now because it was out for a year, I guess Nintendo was smart to do that, eh?).
Now that people are actually trying the PS4/XBO, they are finding out that the systems aren't what they were hyped up to be. And they are finding that they like the experience of the Wii U more. So they write articles about it. Simple.
PS4/XBO/WiiU are factually 8th Generation, in other words current generation systems.
However, PS4/XBO put more focus on interactive technical showcase/movie type games. The selling point of these games is usually "The main character has X polygons", "The particles are individually processed objects", and "the world is really big".

I know right? Sony/Microsoft fanboys can be quite insane. I watched the actual video and by my comprehension he was referring to consumers with the word "you" more so than Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo is not crazy about the other companies. The press is always turning people against Nintendo because they won't bribe everyone.
The gaming media, folks. He didn't take any shots at Sony/Microsoft. He looks at them with great apathy. He doesn't care what they're doing, he just cares what Nintendo's doing.
Wii U realy is the best system for 2013. Jason Rubin said it's a crime other people can't play Nintendo games. It's no crime, it's exclusivity. Wii U is the cheapest system by a long shot compared to PS4/XBO.

I think that people have a mental problem where they want a Wii U, but they don't want to look uncool, so they come up with reasons they shouldn't get the system and ignore the features/games.

I love how Sony/Microsoft gamers act like there are no games on the Wii U. Why can't they just suck it up and admit they don't like the different types of games Wii U offers? They'd seem a lot more respectable for that instead of looking like idiots making baseless uninformed accusations.
No one's going to listen to a biased statement like that. On Wii U, you can play SM3DW. On PS4, you can play Killzone or Resogun. Pick what you prefer.
