Aw hell naw. First that Starwars Wingman game and now this. If only Wii U sold better.
PS4/XBO can't run it at 60FPS.
Love this company and their games.
The definitive Kirby game is Kirby's Return to Dreamland. It's just perfection from a traditional Kirby standpoint.
"Third parties can't sell their multiplats on the Wii U because Wii U owners were smart enough to tell them to f*& off"
I think it's just that Wii U owners don't want third party games. I think even if they were well done then Wii U owners still wouldn't buy them en masse. This has been happpening since the N64 generation save for a few exceptions.
Lol, the pattern with you is so obvious :P
I like how people are acting like Wii U can't run anything. The ignorance i'm seeing is astounding. Just because it's not as strong as a PS4 or Xbox One, that doesn't mean that it's not capable of running great games. Programmers are WAY more important than hardware, and that's not to say hardware isn't important, but Wii U's hardware is sufficient for a new Zelda in a huge world.
Seems like sour grapes more than anything.
If you want them done right then you're gonna have to personally fund and oversee the development of every third party multiplat on the system. Otherwise, you can't control third parties and they'll keep doing what they do.
This is a generic crappy 2013 Wii U article.
I personally do not want any more remakes.
Splatoon is going to be quite nice. It will be the most original shooter out this year and it's hard to argue that.
1. 3rd party support was promised.
True, but Nintendo doesn't have as much control of third parties as you think. They're separate companies and Nintendo can't force them to do anything.
2. Gamecube games on vc.
Those were never promised. However they haven't delivered on the ones they did promise either. DS was promised and we never saw it.
3. Gamepad must haves.
Hmmmm, this is subjective....
This is completely true. I suspect a slanted community here based off of the disagrees..
It's basically people who want only the console they like to exist.
Well that's true. It's all just messed up gaming industry politics that lead to that situation. It pretty much stems from Nintendo's past policies and their current first party support. Sad situation.
I guess that's the cost of going against the grain. I hope Nintendo finds a way to dilute this hatred without compromising their individuality.
People have a burning hatred for Nintendo. Even if they make 12 GOTY worthy games in a year, they'll still be hated by the general gaming public because Wii U can't play DVDs.
Then they'll keep making new IPs because they're Nintendo, and they don't care what you think mwahahahah > = )
#BasedNintendo
I hope they make sequels to Captain Toad and Splatoon.
It's not necessarily the Wii U owners' faults. It's Nintendo owners in general. It all started in the N64 gen when Sony stole Nintendo's third party support with superior policies and paying off developers.
Even the original Xbox had far superior third party sales, with an install base of practically the same size. Not only that, that was Microsoft's first generation!
Splinter Cell Xbox - 3,000,000
Splinter Cell GC - 200,000
I still like Sonic. Most games he's come out with recently are enjoyable. Especially Lost World and Generations. I'm of course not talking about Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, but the show is decent.
Wii U has my most anticipated games of the year.
