The PS3 isn't hacked and there's no mod for the PS3 anywhere other wise it'd be all over the place.
Paradox has been releasing PS3 games from the start but you can't do anything with them, because you can't boot up a burned Blu-Ray game on the PS3, it's been tried on the 1.60 firmware the newer firmwares wouldn't allow that either.
DOwnloading the pirated disks is pointless as your just wasting HD space for a "one day" ...
Err, Yeah... and I bet Capcom is really happy that their game is released 10 days before the real release date.
Oh well I suppose loosing that money on the 360 doesn't matter all that much anyway.

LoL, Courts don't need PR or even good or bad PR it doesn't matter what people think outside the court room.
TPB will only win this depending on what RIAA/MPAA are suing for as a transfer directly of pirated files no TPB can't be shut down that's been tried 2-3 times already via courts.
If RIAA/MPAA are sueing because people can go to TPB and download files which allows for copyrighted files to be transfered then yeah TPB may go down... it depends on the sweedis...

Don't worry people MS will make sure to shut down Rare 2 months before the game is complete then say it'll complete the games themselves and then decide to delay the game then after 3 months just shelf the games.
I hope GTA5 is only on the PS3 as GTA 4 sucked, I also hope they make it like GTA3 you know free to do as you plase do some missions when you want instead of a mobile ringing every 5 bloody mins then when you don't answer the same person rings back then conpkains about how you didn't answer the phone and that your've screwed up the mission.

MS are only buying games because they don't want to fork out the cash to buy/run game studios any more.
The problem with buying games etc is that your forking out a lot of cash straight up that you may never get a return on.
Currently though the buying of games is tried and true typical MS bully tactics, they tried to buy out heaps of devs/studios that hasn't gone good for MS so they dump the studios and buy the rights to games to try and force people onto their ...
It's because the head production manager is 360 diehard, other wise no one else in square is probably interested in the 360.
The other things would be cash form MS, would be the pushing factor as Square even though selling a lot... has still lost money even in the boom years.
Square says it has other RPGs that are PS3 only so maybe the end is nigh on the current RPG game set from Square, companies are wanting to go in new directions as well but don't really wan...
PS1/2 weren't really hacked though, people simply put a chip onto the disk detector/boot up detector and simply made it look like a proper disk had been inserted.
I take it the Cell probably handles all this itself or via software then uses cell to check the disk or the blu-ray drive is checking the disk out itself thus you can't really chip the console but the drive would need to be chipped.
The 360 is the same deal as the PS1/2 as well.
As for downloadin...
This isn't exactly new stuff you can pull the PS3 HD out put it onto a Linux distro and you can read the file system.
The PS3 uses Linux for it's file system handling.
As for pirating the games sure looking at the file system is 1 thing.
You also need to have some sort of boot loader or boot up burnt blu-ray disk thing happening as well.
A lot of the older games are around 10-15gig and heavenly sword PS3 only games are around 25+ gig in size...
Not so fast.
MS would have to first prove they invented that stuff and I'd say they wouldn't have invented any of it.
A lot of that stuff has been on PC and in a form on other consoles/games before the xbox came out.
It would also need to be fully pantanded but that still doesn't mean MS would win.
MS would sue the lic holders which is GPL group.
MS can just grind the GPL group out of existence, if they were happy to pay 10 million each day they didn't pay a US Gov Trade fine then they won't be fussed about the GPL holders all that much money wise.

I waiting for the non Cell PS3 then Sony will be able to make a huge cut I heard all about it from this guy.

I thing that gets me is... Sony came out in Nov Dec 08 and said they have broke even and have been making profit from each console sold for the last 2-3 months but it's not a big profit so can't really drop price yet.

a 3 core CPU made by Intel.
Has DDR2 ram.
uses a Nvidia GPU
and may have a seagate HD.
and yet the Jap consoles are complete ripoffs, even though they usually use their own specially designed parts.
The 360 is just a cut down PC don't even attempt to make out it's some specially made console.
The PS3 uses 100gigabyte RAMBUS ram split into 256meg for GFX and then the system.

also it's only 80% of 1000 torrents and they boast about being the largest with millions of torrents.
you only need to be screwed on 1 pirated item and just said there's at least 200 torrents that are illegal on the site.
