The Desginer/maker at Square after FF7 Did the FF movie it sucked up too much cash and Enix another software company or bank? bought out Square and kept the Square in the name as everyone knew that.

In Australia they are giving LBP for free with all the 80gig PS3 plus what ever extras you also get with the PS3.
Some places have 2 free games or a game plus dual shock or just a dual shock on it's own prices for a PS3 in Australia is between $650 and $750 it just depends on where you go and what you get in a shop's pack/bundle.
360 doesn't have these sorts of packs just what ever MS tells them to hand out at the time.

The 360 is the same deal only that MS will have a Dev codebase all setup to with from/with so this would speed up the production of games.
It's not really all that long to make a game anyway they are around 2 years of production year 1 is planning, year 2 is coding etc after that it's some testing and out the door.

Games for winodows is only something that MS made so that a Dev pays MS to check and make sure it won't screw over windows or cause unknown problems.
