The Cell behind PCs???
1 Cell is slightly above the computing power of 8x (top end) xenon quad server cpus, and now IBM sell baby super computers that use twin Cell CPUs in them along with all the GPU of the PS3 but 8 gig of high speed rambus ram, which leaves DDR3 in the dust in terms of bandwidth.
Maybe the PS4 will be using this type of setup twin Cell plus extra ram, be a complete killer of a system with Lnuix or MAC OS on it.
720 or 360x2 will only be a pipe dream.

companies don't keep products that don't make money and the 360 is one of those products, probably in June 2009 will be the date the 360 is dropped from production.

Lair is a great game.
The reviews are just people whinging about how they have to tilt the controller around they hardy ever say the game is bad just that they can't play it because they can't get the tilting of the controller.
Most are hardly reviews of lair, it's a shame because they actually allow this sort of crap for a review.
Shipping costs are only done in USD never any other currency, even shipping between non US countries your shipping is converted to USD twice so you end up paying more than what you really should be.
The problem with this guy though JB-HIFI $688 isn't the chepest price you can get a PS3, sometimes other shops will go down to $650, with Sony's new 1 PS3 game marketing with a new console the pricing has been fixed at a lot of places so prices have gone back to the RRP.

I would say MS can't afford to keep the 360, after all it was a Bill Gates money dream, and only he could make the share holders keep it as a product.

I honestly don't think any of these games really cost much more than a few million.
I can't ever figure out how a game could cost 70million dollars it's not like a movie where your desgining and building real life sets etc and need people with the know how etc.
Most games are made in 2 years 1 year of hard core codeing/gfxs and the 2nd year for tieing up loose ends and some testing then out the door.

I take it your in the US so you like to pay $60 for the game then pay DLC "extra on top" so you get the rest of the game that couldn't be fitted on the disk.

The problem though is that they are trying to sell games to people who probably aren't even interested in buying their games, the US game market is the largest but that means nothing if the people in that market don't buy it.
For example 90% of total japan people would love manga movies, where as it's probably only 2% of total US people would hate manga.

Forza sucks as a driving game, it's far far too easy to drive around you just simply drift all the corners as all the cars have the exact same handling across the board, also way too much understeer.
Real F1 drivers and other pro drivers use GT for training and learning tracks, before going to the real car and appling the same things learned on the game.
